Your Thoughts on PVP?

I enjoy Crucible for what it is. I used to be a massive halo 3 fan and have been waiting since Reach (it was ok) for a true Bungie PVP experience. COD filled my short term bullet spraying fixation while waiting, and it was too easy and repetitive. Blops 2 was fun, but everyone was really bad, Ghosts was ok but wasn't polished enough, and Halo 4 was Reach with a fancy Halo 3 mask on. Finally, Bungie is in full force with this game...or at least I hoped it would be. The single player is just world of Warcraft for ten year olds with first person camera and guns, but I'm not bitter about it. Honestly I don't care, the story blows but has potential, and I only use single player to upgrade my gear and get exotics. The crucible is the meat of this game and it should be the focus of bungie's efforts. It isn't as repetitive as COD and has the physics and speed, that I fell in love with, of halo 3. It's a nicely blended machine of noob crushing matchmaking FPS gameplay. If you played Halo 3 then you know what I'm talking about, true Halo 3 PVP fans should like crucible simply for the feel of it. The only complaint we would have is that it isn't as skill based as halo 3. No ranking, no rank level that goes down when you suck, no grenade bouncing to take out shields :(, no rewards for skilled players, and no weapon independence. What I mean is that in halo 3 you HAD to be good with only a few weapons, that everyone else also uses, or else you would be terrible. The goal was to get better at getting head shots with the BR, learning how to bank grenades off walls to drop shields, and crouch, jump, and strafe timing to win gun fights. That's skill. That's building skill to be better than everyone else. That's not some random exotic pistol I got from a raid. That's not some engram I got from a drop with a ridiculous shotgun. I could go on but you get it. You can read other peoples posts on here about crucible complaints. Astonishingly some people think crucible is broken and too hard (lol). But anyways, The skill level is diminished. It's happening across the board with ALL video games and it's depressing. There's no need to treat gamers like children who don't know how to use two joy sticks and a few buttons. This is really my only complaint with crucible, and sadly it makes the game incredibly less enjoyable, to the point where I don't even want to play. I like the mechanics, the speed, the grenades and abilities, and the action. But it doesn't require skill. It doesn't give me the urge to try and get better at landing head shots while strafing or finding new ways to increase my K/D. And with RNG there is no incentive for players to get better at the game, there is only incentive to play the game longer for no actual reason. It's sad. I'm hoping some issues are weeded out in the coming months but we're gamers, our attention spans aren't long and there are a ton of new games coming out. I might put destiny up on the shelf next to halo 3 and MW2 and move on. What are your opinions? Disagree with me? Also I know everyone likes to look up stats to toot their own video game horn so my Xbox gamertags were matbioch007 and jimbo1616. But I'm on PS4 now, matbioch. Mostly playing Rumble but add me! Let's play some frustrating games of crucible.
