I need some a vice re: heavy weapons
I have got 150 vanguard marks burning a hole in my pocket I have exotics and legendary primary and specials but not heavy. I am looking to do my first vog soon so need to make sure I make the right purchase. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

2 RepliesBuy the swarm seriously dude it's one of the most well rounded heavy machine guns bin using one for weeks and I love it it'll be a different story when I get corrective measure but swarm is a good legendary no doubt

3 RepliesDon't buy The Swarm. I bought it for the void damage but 35 in the clip has been sorta disappointing, especially after getting 2 corrective measures from the raid shortly after. Zombie apocalypse is definitely a good buy tho

Edited by Baraka: 11/2/2014 4:58:11 PMMy only advice is that you have a secondary or heavy with void damage for the praetorians in vog. If you don't have a secondary with void, then I suggest a heavy and make sure you grab some heavy ammo synths just in case. Also, try to find something in the HMG arena with stability, if you decide on an HMG. Rockets are nice too, but with the teleporting mobs it's very frustrating to shoot and have them teleport. And when they get close you need to take care not to blow yourself up. Corrective measures is sweet, but it drops from raid.

3 RepliesFor the VOG you want the best armour you can get, as each light level bumps up your damage. If armour is out of the question, the vanguard's swarm is an impressive weapon, at less in my opinion.
