Heavy ammo completely breaks 3v3. So many times I've witnessed an entire team get the heavy ammunition and completely destroy the other team (sometimes it is my team who does it). Rockets and light machine guns do not take any skill to use and should not reward the other team with the amount of points that it does. One garners more points from a heavy weapon kill than one does from a headshot or normal kill. There's no reason someone should be rewarded for an act that takes absolutely no skill. It is even worse when rockets do not even have to hit a physical location on the map to explode due to a proximity upgrade that allows them to blow up near an enemy. I believe heavy should not even be included in the Crucible because it can lead to a complete turnaround for a losing team, but I realize that is a very strong opinion. I do believe that heavy weapons ruin all gametypes but it has the largest impact on 3v3 and should be excluded.

Edited by Void: 11/1/2014 5:00:17 PMIn 3v3 games only one set of heavy ammo should spawn at a key point around the center of a map. Certain gear/perks on machineguns can give a single player 150 bullets upon pickup. In 3v3s I can quite literally just use my machinegun throughout the entire match as soon as the first heavy ammo spawns.

That's kinda the whole point, your suppose to rush for the heavy ammo.

YEAH! We should also take out regular ammo cause cause I see way to many people killing with their primary weapons. Like I have been on a winning team and the losing team used their primary weapons to kill us and ended up winning. It takes no skill to use these guns all you have to do is pull the trigger and point, these are way too OP to use in the crucible.

Someone suggested only one heavy ammo spawn instead of two, put it in the middle of the map, preferably exposed to many sight lines.
-
Ur dumb of course they require skill to use. The team with the most skill will win. It also gives a comeback opportunity to the losing team

I'd like to see a 3v3 with no supers or radar

If that's the case you might say the same for 6vs6 because once I get ammo for Jolders hammer it's over plus I have extra ammo perk & I just got armor that gives extra heavy ammo.
-
Mine you with the perk I get 150 bullets & it takes 3 to 5 bullets to kill someone

There is heavy ammo for each team, spawning at the same time. However, those who get it will meet in battle and one team will collect it all. Once this happens, it's usually game over unless you're able to net a sniper headshot or a fusion rifle kill. I propose this change: In 3v3 modes and in Rumble, only one set of Heavy ammo should spawn, in the centre of the map, and only one player should be able to get it per team. The amount of ammo in these modes may also need to be reduced (for Machine Guns only). That's my opinion on the matter, feel free to pick it apart and find the best solution, community.
