Bungie, I still ask myself every day why you all decided to destroy the mechanics and reliability of jump sniping and jump shots in general.
You don't want a game where everyone jump shoots 24/7. Let me explain one simple truth, this is a fantasy game and every class you make has abilities to soar up in the sky. So much of the game is up in the air which is why this needs to be fixed and returned to the way it was back in your halo games. It takes incredible skill and focus to consistently make jump snipes happen.
Why do you tear away the one single thing that makes a great player amazing? It's because you want everyone to feel like a champion. This is evident when you supply everyone with super abilities that literally take no skill. Just really wish that your approach to pvp was truly, rawly, skill driven. Where the outcome of a battle is defined by a player outs killing the other, not by launching a super with absolutely no hope for retribution. There will be many who disagree and few who agree with me sadly. This day and age I can honestly say that games are becoming too easy to play and the skill or x-factor has been shoved aside.
All I want is for jump sniping and jump shooting to be as consistent as shooting while standing on the ground. Because quite frankly these fights get extremely boring when a player has only left or right as an option to survive while shooting. Jumping is the third option, a desperate alternative to surviving a battle while having the ability to still shoot accurately, even though it's heaps more difficult to stay accurate. Stop squashing the profession style of play and find your roots of origination. The original halo games were the hardest shooters I've ever played and still are to this day. I want to be thrilled and have my heart pumping in genuine suspense when a game gets really close. I've never felt that way about destiny, among many other games in the past few years. I looked forward to playing a bungie game because I knew they were the highest quality games that took only the upmost skill to be the best.
Jump sniping is my destiny. It's a beautiful thing, like lebron dropping 3 pointer jump shots. Please, I beg you to reconsider. I miss it, I need it, I crave it, I thirst it. Feeling so sad that you've left us die hard, try hard players in the depths of history. *sobs*

NOOOOOOOO
-
Lol good lord... Another silly reason to condemn this game...
-
It doesn't even have to be jump sniping, but I can't snipe when I use Glide? It's like a freaking jetpack, and I can't shoot my gun. Why
-
Angel of light, enough said.
-
Have you ever heard of anyone trying this in real life? Probably not, because it's silly.
-
Probably because it would make having a perk that let you hang in air when you aim down sights pointless. That and they want you to come out of cover and shoot. Just like trying to head glitch, shoot from behind cover, or have a superior firing position - enemies will throw grenades in a perfect arc to land by you - even if they never saw you.
-
Just stop no one wants trick shoting put in this game it's one of the good things about it. Go back to cod if you want it.
-
I can't stand Bastion and the moon base in PvP. All anyone ever does is snipe and camp spawns and make the match so boring.
-
I can't stand jump sniping. How is it a good firing position? I'd be all up for weapon sway being added.
-
I jump shoot whilst aimed down the sights, all the time with my Hunter, and I can pop off snap headshots, from the top of the third jump, and maintain aim whilst on the first.
-
Let me guess... You're one of those 'Quick Scopers' aren't you? Yeah I thought so.. Let me explain something to you young man; Auto aim - 1 shots, are NOT 'Skill', they do not make you an 'amazing' player. It is cheap, & cheesy.
-
The only thing that is dumber than this idea, is your "reasoning" behind it. "Make it easier because I'm a good player and only good players can do it"
-
Interesting point of view. Not one I agree with. Take up warlock and you have a speciall ability to shoot from the air.
-
You want the same accuracy in the air ? That sounds like an awful idea. There are already waaaay to many ways to die to pure cheese. Supers, melees, grenades...etc. now you want zero penalty while in midair? Good thing you're not a game designer.
-
or even going prone mid air. ooh ooh what about we all just fly constantly? man what a fun facet of fps gameplay -said that one guy
