Anybody else bored raiding?
As the title states. Any body else getting bored of raiding? Maybe it's this week, who knows. That feeling of success and completion is no longer with me. Once I finish the Raid this week with my Titan, that'll have been the 9th time I've done it in hard. My Titan has been luckier than my Warlock, that has only ever seen 2 drops. And that might be where my boredom comes from.
The raid isn't hard once your group knows what they're doing, but being in there for 1-2 hours to get ascendant material and chatterwhite week after week gets a bit.... tiring. Specially when I've seen so many of my team mates get the mythoclast. This week kinda put a cherry on top with the amount of glitches we encountered, we said to hell with it and just didn't finish Atheon; it was becoming a frustrating experience to deal with glitch after glitch, and we haven't even been interested in finishing it after that.
I'm hoping Bungie can get those things straitened out so we can all enjoy a smooth, pleasant experience.

I do it once a week, it's all about the people you go with and making it fun. We pretty much just drink and talk shit the whole time.

Would have been more to do if activision and bungie didn't throw all of the original directors work onto the chopping block. Game it dull and it will easily become dull again after all the dlcs come out. I give this game until next fall and it will start to become a ghost town of a community

3 RepliesYeah, I'm kind of raided out. Even with checkpoints and cheesing. I'm almost 400 hrs in and the repetitiveness is getting to me. I play the game less and less each day in favor of games like mordor and overdrive. But I'm comfortable with putting the game down for a while. With a level 30 warlock, 29 Titan, 29 Hunter, and half the exotics the game has to offer, I feel quite accomplished with my time spent in Destiny.

Been bored for almost a month.

Not bored yet, however after a lucky hard run with my warlock (got fatebringer) i got only shards on a normal run on my Hunter the day after. That's life though. :P

1 ReplyKeep fighting. I was in the same boat as you. Last night finally got the mytho a second vision of confluence and a ship from atheon. We had the same glitches. Only two would teleport. Three teleport and one is stuck in a containment field. Pretorian on venus dies and regenerates with full health. Oracles take no damage. Harpies all the sudden sprout wings and blow you up on the pedestals. Die in the center from bs splash damage from atheon. It was horrible but we stuck with it and had a perfect non glitch round. It also helped that we rolled 6 level 30 warlocks. Comes in handy when everyone can regen due to glitch deaths. Don't give up cause it's a great feeling once you finally obtain it.

While My lady has got 2 pieces of raid gear, the bond, chatterwhite, vision of confluence and other fun stuff...
