I have had both for awhile and I'm a PvE player. The Ice breaker is high impact/high recoil. With the ammo regen it is ideal for taking on bosses or enemies with a large health pool. P&T is a low impact/low recoil rifle. You can put a lot of precision shots down range fast. Make it good for taking out a group of small enemies or one major. With its cloak ability you can alway begin the engagement without being suppressed by enemy fire. Also, with the cloak ability and being a Titan main I can get to downed allies and pop my shield without risking a wipe. Both are extremely useful in the correct situation and play style.

Depends on what your doing. Ice Breaker is good for laying down continuous fire on your enemies. This is somewhat ideal for PvE. For example the Templar Stage in the raid. Patience and Time. Although I just bought it this morning, I believe that it performs better in PvP. Active radar, active camo, and its a sniper rifle. Sit back and relax until your enemy shows his face. I say this about the PT because the videos of it posted on Youtube. I never seen a better sniper in PvP other than the PT.

    • 'Patience & Time' for PvP. 'Icebreaker' for PvE. I don't like the recoil of the 'Icebreaker' for PvP use, but it really doesn't make a difference in PvE. Ammo regeneration is great for 'bosses', but makes no difference to me in PvP. 'Patience & Time' has virtually no recoil. Having radar active while scoped in, and being cloaked has it's advantages in PvP, but really doesn't make a difference in PvE. It's all personal preference.

        • I have both. Can't really say until I've upgraded patience and time enough. As of now, leaning towards icebreaker.
