So by now most of you know the deal: PS4 is receiving the full package of DLC in Bungie's first offering, The Dark Below, while Xbox owners are being denied one of the two new strikes that come with the DLC until sometime next year. In a game that is already light on content, sectioning it off between systems is probably the fastest way Bungie could have killed their MMO baby. I understand that developers create console exclusive content all the time, but this isn't and extra costume or weapon pack. This isn't something frivolous that has no effect on the core game. This is an entire STRIKE that Bungie is arbitrarily denying to anyone who purchased an Xbox. Petitions aren't going to work. The deals have already been made and the contracts signed. HOWEVER, we, as a community, can show Bungie just what a bad decision they have made by doing one simple thing: DO NOT PURCHASE THE DARK BELOW. Vote with your wallets. Show Bungie that these sort of exclusive deals will hurt their bottom line. If enough Xbox owners simply refuse to purchase the DLC then we've already thrown a wrench into Bungie's "ten year plan". They are depending on the money from these DLC purchases to moving forward. And if Xbox owners refuse to buy them, it will send the message loud and clear.
