Serious talk here.
To all the feminists or to-be feminists of the flood:
What is feminism?
What are you achieving with feminism and how can we all as a whole relate to it in a way where we all agree to it?
As dumb as it may or may not sound, I'm rather new to the idea of feminism. As predictable as it may sound, my girlfriend is a feminist, and the tendencies that come with her being one are coming around as irrational/sexist/annoyingly unnecessary. I have never before come across a partner of the same mindset and have little no knowing on how this can affect them or the people around them. I'll answer as many questions I can in order to get the info I would like to have. I spent the last two and a half hours trying to look up feminist movement goals and different campaigns of groups that contribute feminism but some come inconsistent with rhe beliefs other groups may have and have accomplished no real understanding of what "feminism" really is.
So, if you please could; what is feminism, what do you think it means and what is your take on it?

True feminism is the elimination of gender bias in society. It's everyone being treated equally no matter what sex or gender they are. That means equal pay, equal opportunity and the end of harassment on anyone's part. On the internet it's been twisted into misunderstandings on all sides, and overreactions from everyone.
