I've been playing Destiny pretty much since the weekend after its release. The first 2 weeks I had the game i instantly poured into the game over 100 hours of game play. I left my friends in the dust. By the time they were finishing the game and getting into the light levels, I was level 28 with a couple of exotics. I would get exotic bounty missive one after another, sometimes 2 times a day. Now we come down to my current issue. Every time I get the exotic bounty, it's always the same 3 ones: A light in the dark, Tolund's Legacy, and A Dubious Task. I have tried holding the bounty for one day and returning later on to see if my options change and they don't. The next piece to this puzzle is the nightfall strike. I understand the rewards are random and unknown, but it has gotten to be ridiculous for me. The past 4 weeks I have worked to do a solo run on each nightfall, only to succeed and get a legendary every time. I don't give up hope, as I switch to my other 2 characters and do the nightfall again with my friends to help them through and to get more rewards, only to get yet again more legendary weapons while they get exotics. Sometimes both people I am playing with will get an exotic. Surely there must be an explanation for this. The only idea that comes to mind is inventory. Currently I have ten exotic weapons, either on my character when playing or in the vault, that include: Invective, Plan C, Bad Juju, Suros Regime, Thorn, Ice Breaker, Time and Patience, Truth, Mida MultiTool, and Super Good Advice. Is there some possibility that since I already have so many exotics, that my odds of receiving another are significantly lower than my friends? If so wouldn't this cause issues to collectors, or hardcore players who want to collect all the exotics available in the game?
