A letter for everyone at your meetings. DeeJ, tell them everything. Dear Bungie, You have lost the respect of a large portion of your fanbase, including myself. There was a time where you would create games with these amazing storylines, perfect gameplay, and beautifully crafted lore. You blessed the community with your clarity and grace. Those days are gone now. You decided to partner with Activision, and they have tarnished your reputation. You sold your soul with only money on your mind. Back in the day, you would make games with the intention that the final product was worth what we paid for. You relied on the quality of the game, not the quantity of people buying it. That is the only reason Call of Duty still makes money. If you had any self-respect, you would give Activision the finger and tell them where to stick their business model. I would bet that they said to make the PvE aspect as bad as possible and make PvP your only focus. Its funny because CoD games have terrible multiplayer but decent storylines. Activision haven’t published a good CoD game since Modern Warfare 2. 343 Industries have picked up where you left off because you didn’t really care about your real fans anymore. 343 Industries, a company made for continuing the legacy of the best franchise the gaming world has ever seen. You don’t deserve the respect that they now command, especially from me and millions of others alike. The majority of your fanbase will be leaving for three games in November. Halo MCC, Call Of Duty, and Grand Theft Auto. The reasons why? The amount you charge for such a bland and empty DLC. Broken promises about the final game. You screwed us all. We know this is all you have, there is nothing special hidden away. You are not Bungie anymore. You are Acitivisions B i t c h I would feel bad for you as a respectable company, but I have no respect anymore for you anymore. I am not the only one. We had such high hopes for this game. If you had any respect for us as both consumers and fans, you would refund the money people paid for your laughable DLC and give it to us for free. This all should have been in the vanilla game. Destiny was going to be a continued investment for me, but it has become a filler game while I wait for the releases of good games. CoD may be overrated, but Infinity Ward and Treyarch always release a complete game. 343 Industries have my full support. No doubt most people here will do the same. They knew how much Halo affected the players and how much of an influence it had on the industry. That is why they will carry the flag of the greatness you once showed the world. I accept the exclusivity of content for PS4. You gave PS4 a cheese sandwich, and gave Xbox One the bread without the cheese. They may have the exclusives, but you’ve ripped off both consumer bases. Do not forget that it was the Xbox community that made you a titan of the gaming world. I don’t care what beef you have with Microsoft. This is wrong on so many levels. Even PS4 players have called you out as ripping us off. Even that surprised me and the rest of Xbox players. We might play on different consoles, but we stand united and do not like what you are doing to us. Your methods became fraudulent as soon as Activision showed up. They are a cancer, just like Electronic Arts. They do nothing but corrupt the gaming industry. You have let us down. All the memories of Bungie making us happy are just a distant memory.
