Why are so many voices upset about the DLC?
When I saw the post on the site I pooped. All that new armor? Those weapons? The designs are sweet! new strike? Awesome. 3 multiplayer maps? I'm not a big matchmaking guy, but still. New raid?! I still have to get all the gear from the first one! New merchant too! I wonder if she will sell new bonds marks and cloaks? Emblems? And not to mention some more story missions!
All of this meaning more grimoire cards! More lore! I love reading those cards every now and then.
20 bucks? A third of the game? Eh, not really a big deal to me .I already bought the season pass. So that was, what, 35? When you multiplay this pack by two I'd say its worth it. And who's to say there won't be more to this DLC? To the next one?
If Activision would've let Bungie put these directly into the game- would I be happier? Yeah. But this is Activision. So Activision.
I've seen a few posts on this DLC already and they are almost all filled with hate. But polls suggest the vast majority are happy with this DLC. Myself included.
I guess it's easier to write a post on hating something than it is liking something. Anyways, TL;DR: What are you looking forward to in this DLC? I play Warlock and have to say, the armor is cool and all, but the titan got the best of the bunch on this one >_>

You play play station? Cos you get more ? It's not so much people complaining at the quality of the DLC just that us Brits are paying 20 pounds - around 34 dollars - for the same product add to that I play on Xbox and I'm actually playing more for less. I feel cheated.

When I see the posts of people having aneurysms getting so mad because of this, I just view profile and mute them. Just tired of coming on here and reading garbage all the time. I have the option to filter that garbage. I like finding intelligent posts like this one. I got all three classes ready to go, 20 shards from third 30 with my hunter. I like all the armor and looking forward to getting it all. The weapons, can't wait to see their abilities, and loving the way that rocket launcher looks. Looking forward to new stuff to run. Got a month to get more weapons to lvl and save up materials for the dlc.

After taking a day to cool off, I've decided my anger springs from the fact that there is little info I've come across that details how this content will eventually reach Xbox players. Up to this point, my perception is that the added strike in the dlc is content we are paying for, but not receiving since Sony subsidized Destiny's release. So here are my thoughts on this: having to pay for the strike, but not able to play it stinks royally. But if, when the content reaches Xbox next year, it is free regardless of whether we bought the dlc or not, then our arguments are invalid. Sony paid extra money to subsidize content I will get access to, just at a later date. No biggie. Thanks Sony! If anyone can provide specific information or links that detail how this content will make it to xboxes, I'd love to see it. The way I see it, we have three options: those who purchased dlc get the dlc strikes, the strikes are given for free, or we have to buy a dlc next year that contains the missing strikes. I'm hoping for option 2. I'm also hoping, that as an extension to 2, ps users get the strikes for free when released.

The vocal minority of players who aren't satisfied is always heard most on the easiest to bitch in outlets (forums), don't worry; there are plenty of excited people who can't wait to get the expansion. They're just too busy actually playing the game to post about it.

3 RepliesI'll happily buy it and play it. The only thing that bothers me about the PS4 Exclusive content is that there aren't many strikes as it is on Xbox One. We're stuck with the same 6? And then we get 1 more while PS4, which already had 1(or 2?) more strikes the X1 gets 2 more. People are just tired of grinding the same strikes over and over again. Any new strikes adds to the variety

I am excited for it and as most people have said the hate is coming from Xbone players. I myself would be kinda mad too and it would make me question buying it. After doing the story missions the strikes and multiplayer maps will be the most played part of the DLC and Xbox is missing one of those strikes, so that's a pretty good chunk of content for the same price.

I personally think a lot of people are pissed because of the PS exclusive content, and not simply because it's exclusive. Having to wait an extra month to play exclusive content (that we paid the same price for) would be fine. An entire year? That's idiotic.

im happy buying it with the additions. im just hoping the 3 story missions are quite lengthy ones and not rinced in like a hour or 2. if it takes a while then id be well happy
