I stopped pre-ordering games after I got burned too many times. the pre-order perks are... a joke, and with how the industry is leaning... better to wait a few weeks and check for smoke before buying.

There isn't a destiny 2 did you not that there going to run this game for ten years

-
Probably won't be, they will just dlc until it's dead.
-
Destiny 1 has only been out for 2 months you idiot. Why are u even talking about destiny 2.
-
You shouldn't be pre ordering ANY game if you are a smart customer. Never pay for anything in advance. You are just asking to get screwed over if you do.
-
this is good one! ...count me out after this one, this is my mindset today and may change....if Bungie gets their act together, leaning towards no

Edited by Dyno: 10/30/2014 9:12:09 PMI rent everything before purchasing these days. Been burned to many time by the "next gen" games. Nothing personal this is just how I roll now.

I will pre order it. As it is now Bungie is new to this genre of game and are experimenting, and they are constantly working to improve. I plan to stick with the game and see first hand how far Bungie can improve and where they will take this.

It's not a sequel, it's an expansion. I got into this for the long haul, for better or worse. The only thing that would drive me off is if they made content less accessible to the solo guardian or intertwined pvp into the progression. After that statement about the Thorn bounty being an inspiration for future missions, I cringed pretty hard. But I'll see where they go with it. I very well could change my mind over the next year.
-
No ofcourse not, preordering is a bad habbit,do not give your money away beforehand wait for reviews and then make your decision.

Destiny 2 will add an impressive 3 new strikes, 2 of them for ps3 and ps4. A vangaurd load of new weapons to be nerfed for PvP. 8 new story missions that still won't make any sense. 5 new crucible maps that are re skinned. 1 new raid with baby bumpers. New loading screen ships, new patrol scooters with better speed boast. An entire new planet with only one area to explore. What am I missing?

Destiny 2 or whatever next project will really have to earn my dollars. I will probably red box it to play it first, because if I had done that with Destiny I would have blown through the game and not felt compelled to purchase the game. If I didn't have work/family/life I would probably have moved on from this game by now. That is sad considering how much I've got back from prior Bungie games. Really big disappointment
-
Not so sure there will be another.
-
Hell no. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
-
No way .... This game taught me to never believe the hype again
-
They've ruined preordering for me forever. Unless it's a known commodity, I'm done.
-
I was promised one game that evolves over 10 years. So if there is a Destiny 2 that's a big mistake by bungie
-
I was lucky enough to receive this game as a birthday present, so I paid for the DLC pack. That being said I'm very disappointed with the lack of story, and the lack of variety in pve. 'Deploy ghost, kill some stuff, listen to pointless statement, end' The pvp content (though I'm not a big pvp player) is very limited and has nothing that hasn't been done before by a bunch of other games. The lack of content, even more so as I'm Xbox one, is what's putting me off even considering buying anything from Bungie or Activision ever again. Let's just hope mass effect 4 is better
-
If Bungie straitens their issues out, I will buy Destiny 2. I will not preorder it, and I will not buy it before the reviews come out. The same applies to the DLC.
-
I honestly don't know if I'll buy another bungie game again
-
There won't be a Destiny 2 so to speak, we have one game and it well have larger expansions every 3 years or so that will be like Destiny 2, 3 and so on. But to answer your question I'm here for the long haul, i personally love this game and have been looking fire a great co-op experience to play with friends and that delivered. That's just my opinion though
-
I find nothing wrong with this game...
-
Not me for sure. I had enough with the ghost edition scam...
-
I wouldn't even buy it. In fact, I'd actively dissuade people from buying it.
