What if we could have 4 subclasses? 4th element being ice? We already have void, solar, and arc. What if cryo would be a 4th? Any comments?
As far as matchmaking goes, I would say bungie is right to not match us up with random people we may not know. However. I do believe matchmaking should be implemented for all instances. Or at least given the choice to. The default matchmaking group being a balance between the classes.
Example: default matchmaking team must consist of an even number of hunter, titan, and warlock unless you have a preformed party. If in the event that you are missing members to fill in your fireteam, maybe a screen asking you if you would like to fill ranks.
Screen pop-up: replenish ranks with (checkmark titan, warlock, and/or Hunter).
With this default matchmaking however, I would think perhaps each class would need a buff to something, titans obviously being more "tanky", hunters having a slightly faster CD period, and warlocks having a slight increase in damage and ONLY for PVE. But the difference would have to be slight. This is more of an opinion rather than "what this game needs" purely because I believe the classes need something to distinguish each other. The way we play these classes is different to a very small extent. With the new roles the classes have to fill, it might add a new level of strategy, not to mention it would make a difference which class you chose as opposed to a purely aesthetic difference.
Any opinions on this? Good idea? Bad idea? Please sound off in comments below!

Edited by Insomniatron: 11/6/2014 10:02:48 PMWe'll get Subzero subclass and guns when we find Saturn's moons, and the fourth enemy type that occupies them, as well as their Fallen Pirate competitors. (in my dreams...) (Edit: Also, in that same dream, we get a fourth character slot, and a fourth race...
It's the Fallen.
Final fantasy xiv uses matchmaking like that for its dungeons. X amount of each class. Sometimes it takes a long time to find everyone though, but since its an actual open world, that's not really a problem. We'd be stuck in orbit for 5-45 mins waiting for the strike to start.
