For The Record...

I learnt my lesson a couple of years ago with Halo 4, not to inflate my hype balloon under any circumstances. Which is why I played Destiny and thought, "It's a bit short but it will do to pass the time until something better comes along" but recently I found myself wanting to learn the story (Which seems to have been scrapped from what we saw last year), and I stumbled upon this video... And then my blood began to boil. Whether it be a legitimate reason behind the change from this vast open world MMO shooter with the Traveller and the Speaker being the hidden enemy and some beautiful environments, and the end game Black Garden actually being inside the Traveller and you needing to kill it's heart to end the darkness. The fact that last year a trading system was mention and a gambling system and a lot of content we didn't see being talked about in videos is ridiculous. It's either Bungie have joined the greedy developers or they had to scrap it for hardware reasons, if that's so then why will Bungie not come clean. Please correct me if I'm wrong but was Destiny not meant to last 10 years? It didn't even last me 2 months, I have hit level 30 and have a number of exotics and legendaries including the Mythoclast. Either release some content to turn the game into what it was supposed to be or Actually come out with a video, NOT a written statement on the website, a video detailing the EXACT reasons why you have managed to not just mess up what was set to be one of the first good console MMOs of this generation (Not of all time, Phantasy Star Online still takes home that trophy) but also transform it into a subpar Halo story with poor servers and an extremely small set of content. My guess is that Bungie didn't care if the game was enjoyed, so long as people buy it in the masses. Whereas companies such as Valve, Square Enix and in some cases even Bethesda try to make games that they don't expect to sell too well and they don't over hype it (More brackets: Kingdom Hearts III hyped it's self just by being confirmed). For The Record: I had faith that Bungie would try to atone for the colossal disappointment that was Halo: Reach, but so far all that's happened is that the company I used to look to as everything right with the gaming industry has very quickly turned into everything wrong, this was obvious after ODST (And again, The game as good as it was, was still unnecessary. Bungie if you have absolutely any love for your old fan base or even your new one that got you here in the first place then please do as I have asked. I know I'm not alone with this.

  • CAN WE STOP REPOSTING THIS!! Who gives 2 shits. Have you or anyone else dumped the disc or found this in the files on the disc? This is a server based game, Bungie can add in areas at will. How do you or anyone else know they weren't added in during one of the patches? When the DLC comes out and all we need to do to is download a patch to add it in are you going to be pissed then too? This shit has to stop...
