Replacement Ghost edition codes!

I was given a Ghost edition for my birthday to go along with my Destiny PS4 which I bought myself. The copy bought was from the US, by my not so knowledgeable parents, for those of you on PSN, you will know that overseas PSN codes do not work on different region accounts. As it was a present I do not have the reciept but I have the rest of the boxing, codes etc. Activisions support is useless as even though I can prove the codes are not yet used, they will not replace them because I do not have proof of purchase! Bungie themselves have no support to contact and contacting Sony themselves reference me to the AUS call hotline, who then say they cant help me and speak to Activision, Activision tells me that nothing can be done without the amount paid for the item on the receipt which I do not have! I have the pre-order receipt but that does not have the price on it and it therefore not counted. Bungie please help! We paid $250 to get a copy of a special edition sold out in my country and 50% of the reason it was bought it is useless!
