Latest Update and DLC Wishes

After reading the latest Bungie update, I'm pretty excited for the return of special events. The Queen's Wrath missions were hit or miss for my small group of friends, but overall we all agreed it needed some tweaking. Replaying the same missions on a harder difficulty was something we were already doing. Not to mention, when I saw the event for the first time I was expecting to see some kind of action in the Reef, but that's a topic for another discussion. I have my fingers crossed in hopes that Bungie will be releasing content that leads up to the next DLC: The Dark Below. Picture this: You're out patrolling the Cosmodrome with two of your buddies when suddenly the sky darkens. Your small wolf pack stops to see where the next public event will spawn, but when you look to the heavens the giddy excitement at the prospect of ascendant materials turns to cold fear. The sky is filled with fiery, green hive seeders. You fire up your sparrow boosters as the seeders rain down around you. One of your buddies disintegrates instantly as a seeder slams into the ground next to you. Your sparrow explodes and depletes your shield leaving you defenseless. The few remaining Fallen in the area are quickly overrun by waves of Thralls and Acolytes pouring out of the seeder. What do you do? Initiate a tornado of fists, grenades, and shotgun spray. A wicked display of death dealing expertise leaves you with a sliver of health as you revive your fallen comrade and bask in the blue glow of a bonus shield. You set your sights on the nearby seeder and point. The message is understood. Your fire team lays down heavy cover fire as you sprint towards the seeder. Thrall and Acolytes burst into flames all around you as you slide into position and release your ghost. It guides you to a control panel commanding you to smash it. You pound on the control panel until it falls away revealing a dark funnel covered in strange, glowing runes. Something knocks you off your feet. You stare up into a mouth of snarling, jagged teeth thrashing and gnashing at your throat. With one hand you grab the Thralls throat and bring your other across its face one, two, three times shattering its skull in an explosion of fiery light. You scramble to your feet, grab a grenade and toss it into the dark funnel before sprinting away from the hive seeder. You look over your shoulder as the seeder erupts in a torrent of light. The hordes of hive around it instantly turn to dust. Hive warships fall out of warp space in the distance dropping commanding units: wizards, knights, and ogres. You mount your sparrow and lead the fire team into battle. There are four more seeders to destroy. I can only hope for something like this in future content for Destiny. Overall, I've enjoyed the PVP and PVE side of Destiny, and it seems to me that Bungie is doing what it can to address issues for a majority of players. To Bungie, I say keep up the good work and stick to your vision. As long as you're getting reviews (good or bad) I wouldn't worry too much about what people think. The day the critiques stop flowing is when I would start to worry. Thanks again, Bungie, for all the hard work and dedication you guys have put into this epic game. I really enjoy playing it.
