Bad Juju Buff: Myth or Fact?
The Bad Juju [i]looks[/i] fantastic. aesthetically it looks bad a$$. Glowing green from weapon, makes you feel like your holding something special. The concept of the String of Curses perk is great. But why is this gun executed so poorly?
Picked up the gun after finishing Tolands Journal bounty and immediately felt underwhelmed. First off, gun doesn't [i]feel[/i] powerful at all. 15 clip mag gives me 5 well placed shots, but the impact is so low damage seems to be an issue.
I heard rumors that a buff was coming for this gun but haven't seen any evidence to prove that it's going to happen. Does anyone know for sure?
I hate to gripe about it but if this gun is going to be called an exotic then it should [i]feel[/i] like one. If I'm going to put those hard earned ascendants into a weapon I want it to be worth my stones. I [b]really[/b] want to like this gun, but let's be honest...it's not balanced in a way that makes playing the game fun. An exotic weapon should look and feel superior to a legendary, shouldn't it?

I just started using this gun randomly during strikes and it is hell a fun and I kill stuff nonstop and hardly ever have to reload it's badass! I wasn't expecting that when I started using it, I just wanted a gun to charge my super faster.

2 RepliesOne of the 2 best Pulse rifles in the game. Red Death being the other one. Does very well in PvE and PvP. Not sure what you mean by low impact, it does very well by me. My mag has 24 bullets, 15 sounds really low.

3 RepliesI've only ever used the year 1 version after the 'alleged' buff ( and by then I'd already owned Red Death ). The gun felt fine to me although I preferred using Red Death because I felt like it was more accurate and hit harder. It's worth noting however that my opinion on Bad JuJu might have have been ( subconsciously) been influenced by a lot of forum debates on how useful a weapon it is. I wonder if I would have thought it was a better weapon if I went in blind without any outside forces telling me how mediocre its base stats were ( the perks are awesome ).

I can't like these topics enough, I'm sick of being ignored while they apparently can patch (see: break) the Vex in a few days. At this rate they'll patch Juju and Thorn by the end of the year, once I've stopped caring and Destiny has worked it's way off my recently played list.

2 RepliesI said in another thread that I once took it into Crucible after the String of Curses perk unlocked, and for just a moment it felt like it was pretty much going to give me infinite ammo, but then I missed with a single burst, and was killed. Hit someone woth four bursts, teammate took the kill, sat reloading while another guy took me out. Landed four shots on a guy, last one wasnt enough of a headshot, got killed. Its just too unforgiving in most cases. There is no recovering if you are not perfect, and still you can't exactly handle more than a single opponent at a time. Currently its a patrol weapon only.

The gun is actually a shithouse fully upgraded idk why everyone keeps complaining about it.

2 RepliesDev Notes posted 25th of September talked about it. Nothing since. I think it's because there's not a huge outcry anymore, they just put it on the back burner. Total shame. I love the gun.
