Suros Regime or Sparrow upgrade?
Personally, I don't use Auto Rifles, and I don't much like the design of the Suros. However, I like to collect Exotic items regardless of this.
On the flip side, I've actually put in effort for Vanguard rep levels just for a Rare Sparrow, and want a Legendary one. I know I could possibly get the Timebreaker, but I doubt my luck will give me that. (Or I buy a sparrow upgrade and then get 7 Timebreakers from one Normal run)
Which do you think I should buy this week?
Edit: I am a hardcore collector of most things in video games, so much so that I manage to crash so many games by just having too much stuff. This is really all I would want the Suros for. The Sparrow would be for both aesthetics and just to have a better one just because I want to.
Edit 2: After getting the coins, and considering what everyone has said (minus the "You're dumb for even considering the upgrade" comments), I've gone with the Suros, because my collection side was stronger and if I were to go aesthetically that fits the character I play, I want the Red Stealth Drive for her. Still, thanks for all the input.

1 ReplyI bought the sparrow upgrade, later that day I got the Raid Sparrow from doing the raid on hard. I also just got the Suros from a chest in the raid tonight on normal. So really it's just what you prefer, I personally think you should get the Suros. Getting a legendary sparrow isn't hard, you just need a blue sparrow and 23 coins to buy the upgrade from Xur (which he shows up every week with the upgrade anyways).

4 RepliesSparrow Upgrade, I got a second one this week for my Hunter and when the Ice Breaker was on sale before i got one then to =P I honestly don't like Auto rifles and the Ice Breaker il get another time because it does not bother me. My point is always get the thing that interests you more. Not what some scrub (Love you guys <3 ) thinks on the forums.

1 ReplySuros. The legendary sparrow is faster, but not worth it if you actually do the hard raids. I would have saved the coins, but I can never find a team who knows what the heck they are doing, and all my friends do the raid when I'm offline. Just get the AR, and wait to get Timebreaker from the raid.

Suros isn't really all that great since the Shadow Price exists. I'd go for the Sparrow, just for the hell of it.

1 ReplyThe Suros might not be back for a while. On the other hand the sparrow upgrades are guaranteed to be back every weekend. So it seems buying the suros now would be better in the long run.

1 ReplySuros is a must! I don't use auto rifles myself I was more of a pulse, scout or hand cannon user. Suros works best at midrange which suited my game play style. It's my PvP gun of choice at the moment but think I will move on at some point as it's not the most fun gun to use.

Get the sparrow upgrade if it's the color u want, he has different colors every week so wait for the color u want, suros u can get from something else, for example, got mine from nightfall

3 RepliesEdited by Batz: 10/26/2014 5:22:35 AMWhen do you ever need a faster sparrow? Never, that's right. The upgrades are only making the sparrows harder to handle and unlike the raid sparrows you're only getting a colorful stream, not the extra boost that can blow the sparrow up.
