I don't care about people having the same items that I have. That's not my problem with Xur. My problem with Xur is that he makes exotics easy to get, which defeats the entire purpose of exotics. Exotics are supposed to be the absolute pinnacle of Destiny's loot and having a vendor that sells exotics goes against everything that exotics are supposed to be. Now if Xur sold a specific list of exotics that were separate from the exotics that can be obtained through normal gameplay, that would be fine too. Bungie wanted our armor and weapons to tell a story of what we've been through as players in the Destiny universe. Unfortunately, the story behind everyone's items seems to boil down to "I bought them from Xur."
