I spent 23 motes of light on an exotic engram, and when I took it to the cryptarch, it came out as a hunter class item. I am a warlock class. This is completely useless to me. Does Bungie do anything about stuff like this? Can they send me one in the right class?
All engrams capable of decoding legendary and exotic armor, show that such armor is for a random class.
Thank you for answering this, Anidien!

Next time you go to decode it look at what it will decode into. It specifically says exotic gear (random class)

All engrams are random, including class. I got a warlock item when I used my titan, so I ended up building a warlock around it.

Edited by Lime Lyfe: 10/25/2014 4:54:03 PMLegendary and exotic engrams, can be decoded into any random class. The only thing certain is that the exotic will be the item shown.
