Factions should give bounties
A previous thread mentioned how it was good to know that the code can be shifted so that other vendors can give bounties.
Now this for me is a revelation.
This means that people other than the bounty vendor can give bounties without too much trouble on behalf of the the devs.
I propose that Factions them selves should give out/reward bounties.
While it seems it's not entirely different from wearing the class item and just doing crucible or Vanguard bountie, it would allow people to use those bounties to level up the faction while still being able to have the days bounties available for both Vanguard and Crucible to be able to level those too.

Well it's no different than the Queens Wrath rep and bounties being seperate from the V and C bounties and Rep, same for Iron banner. While they are limited time events.
It's still no different than just focusing on leveling the Vangaurd and Cruciblenthrough their own bounties.

3 RepliesI like this, but hear me out. Right now, if you apply faction armor all rep is gained toward the faction. so say you are FWC level 3 exactly. It takes 2500 rep to move up to level 4. 500 rep for nightfall. 400 rep for weekly heroic. If you have nightfall buff then it is 480. that is 980 rep in about an hour or two. Then we have crucible/ vangaurd bounties. let's say you do two bounties worth 100 rep and two worth 50 for each one (hypothetically you can do more or less, by who wants to get 10 gunslinger medals?) 600 rep right there, after nightfall that's 720. 720+980= 1700. So you're saying you want faction bounties. Assuming you want these bounties to update every day like regular bounties, that's an extra 360 rep a day. 1700+360=2060. Assuming you are fast and are a skilled PVP/PVE'er, you can get these done about 4-5 hours if that. Also assuming you are doing activities to get additional marks/rep, you can basically level up a faction in one day. Doing the bounties alone (with the nightfall buff) will get you 1000 rep per day, granted if there was faction bounties. You would basically be leveling up your faction every other day, and I don't think bungie wants us to be doing this. Rep levels are something that take time and in my opinion don't need to be messed with. Tl;dr if you know what you are doing, rep levels are achievable fairly fast as they are now. IMO don't mess with them.
