I've run the VoG 13 times (on three characters).
I've had 2 armor drops. One for my Warlock, one for my hunter. Let me break that down:
Warlock: 6 runs = Gauntlets
Titan: 4 runs = nothing
Hunter: 3 runs = Gauntlets
Its getting a bit disheartening to run the Vault and walk away with zero progression made. I had two straight weeks of 3 runs each week and no armor. My Warlock has five consecutive runs without an armor drop. There needs to be a way to mitigate the lack of armor drops in a worst case scenario for players. You've done it with the Strike playlist with Vanguard Marks. You've done it with the Crucible with Crucible Marks.
Add a system in place to give a character a minimal amount of Raid Marks after each successful run. That way a character can buy armor if they get unlucky for more than a month or so.

This should have been in the game at the start. The system is stupid, I have two warlocks and a titan, I have about 280hrs. I've done the raid twice as many times as my wife and she has about 145hrs of play time. Yet RNGesus has favored her and she is level 30. Congrats to my wife, But the crap pisses me off, Not because she beat me, But because I've done twice as much as she has and I'm not level 30. Bungie needs to fix their leveling system. If I don't get the piece of gear I need next week, Then I'm done with this game until DEC. I will buy the DLC, If Bungie screws up again then I'll be done forever. We should have Raid Points Each section that you complete should give points, for a total of like 100 per week. So then a piece of gear should cost 100 points, That means if you complete the raid you are guaranteed to get one piece a week. Cause this RNG crap needs to suck a big one. I got another pair of freaking raid boots this week. Stupid that people hit level 30 the second week of the raid, But I've done the raid more than that and still haven't hit level 30.
