vanguard marks
Can someone give me an idiot proof guide to vangaurd marks. You get 100 a week from strikes but when does that go back to 0? Is it two days from when you reach 100 or is it on a certain day? Also I'm really struggling to get glimmer? I use my 10 min things but I never seem to get enough???

Edited by FoMan123: 10/24/2014 8:58:09 PMThe reset occurs globally every Tuesday at 9:00 AM GMT (2:00 AM Pacific Time, 5:00 AM Eastern in the United States). Glimmer can be gained from doing just about any activity -- what are you purchasing that you're using up so much of it? I'd suggest not purchasing vanity items or Cryptarch engrams unless you really need them -- that's just a waste of Glimmer.

For glimmer do a chest run. you'll get lots of glimmer from the chests and items too which you can dismantle for yet more glimmer or keep if they're a good legendary which can happen too. use the glimmer items while you're at it and kill lots of enemies to earn a bit more glimmer and items to break down into glimmer and engrams to upgrade your cryptarch and then break down into glimmer. Only takes about an hour to hit the cap this way for me.

The weekly cap of 100 marks resets every Tuesday at 2:00 AM PST (9:00 AM GMT), so if you've already acquired 100 marks, you'll have to wait until then to gain more marks. As for your glimmer situation, I can't offer you any tips or tricks, as I've never actively sought it out; I just played as I normally do and ended up at the cap eventually. Perhaps activities such as patrols or strikes might increase your income?
