NERF THE SHOTGUN
I am absolutely sick of running around in crucible to get shot by a shotgun it's bloody ridiculous
I think the range needs to be taken back a bit. I know it's a close range weapon and realistically can kill upto 80m...
But a slight nerf would stop everyone just camping with them. It's so sad it's unreal

3 RepliesThe shotguns are not are not the problem, the PVP map design is, every single map but one (maybe two if I remember) encourages close quarters combat, so no matter how much you nerf the shotgun you will always have people using it because the maps are designed around it, what you need it better PVP level design.

2 RepliesI hate shotguns and fusion rifles, but they are not the problem. the problem is the radar and the awful map designs. If they would remove radar in one of the modes, you wouldn't see these garbage tactics work nearly as much. As of now, they can see when you are closing in on them, they know exactly where you are coming from and since most who run around with these types of weapons rarely ads, they always have radar active. The other problem is that unlike halo, you move backwards much slower than you move toward, so that rewards them even more. I thought the whole point of the hunters agility was to combat some of this, but he moves backwards just as slow as anyone else even with plus 2 agility. I doubt they will ever remove the radar completely, but they need to at least take you off the map while crouching.

Do you have any idea how far 80 meters is? Does the shotgun you got killed by fire slug rounds? Because tell me what gun it is since all these shotguns is only effective at arm length.

Shotguns literally have no range. So there's nothing "realistic" about them. Can I interest you in a Kleenex?

The problem Is not the shotguns. The problem is mostly the people who use them. 90% of the time I find that people simply sit in corners and camp where people have no choice but to get within the shotguns range. The people who use them just need to be legit and run around for a change instead of sitting in a corner the entire game.
