ATTENTION GAURDIANS!
Do you think players feedback should decide the balancing of weapons? Or do you think we should just leave it to Bungie to balance weapons?
I personally think we should let Bungie do their damn job. They know proper balancing. They are still learning along side us with Destiny. We are going to have a few mistakes in the system and they will fix it.
Instead of all of us putting in our two cents on which guns need to be nerfed and which guns need to be buffed can we just put our faith in Bungie and trust that they'll make this a well balanced game for both PvE and PvP alike?
My vote is to trust Bungie and let the experts handle it.

1 ReplyI'm going to go with Trusting Bungie, simply because they have data we don't. They know exactly how many people were killed with headshots by which weapons at which range over how many matches/strikes/raids/whatever. That kind of data is powerful, and can lead to really intelligent decisions. //Of course, that assumes that they actually have this data. If they're not keeping it and reporting on it, then damn them.

1 ReplyI voted other. While any developer can see what items are being used more than others, and try to adjust for that, it's not always raw data. People found out the Suros was the Best over all PvP weapons, so they nerfed it. Fine. The issue being that it still will be a poplar weapon for many, because people are slow to change and some new people will just go with the first thing they read on the internet. So there has to be some common sense before you neft a weapon into oblivion and make it useless. Just because people are still using it, doesn't mean it's OP. It just takes time for people to diffuse to other weapons.

1 ReplyLOLOLLOLLLLOLOLOL!?!?!??! Bungie knows proper balancing? Thats why when they nerfed the suros they didn't take into account how garbage it would become in PvE thats something I'd think about immediately, yeah of course they should let players decide.

1 ReplyIf you were to judge by the forums, you'd think every time a player dies in the Crucible, they have to complain about something being "OP." It is a very, very tired cliche.
