Seriously, I can't get enough of it. It is so satisfying to use. I'll burst out in laughter after going through an entire mob with just throwing knives. I have the perk on my Hunter that I have two throwing knives and if I get a critical kill with it, it automatically resets the cool down.
So sound off all you hunters that enjoy the throwing knife!

The only time I'm happy playing on my gunslinger
-
I do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I love it
-
Nothing better than chaining 5-6 kills without letting 1 bullet fly... Or jumping off a building and scoring a headshot while still mid jump ;)

Throwing knife is amazeballs

I use it as another tool in the Gunslinger kit. Usually I try to use it as often as I can to conserve ammo. I also use the talent that automatically resets the cooldown on crit damage. Usually works out pretty well, if I'm careful with my aim I can get some pretty nice strings of knife tricks going. I hate to switch to the two knife talent because Chain of Woe is just that good.

Hell yes!
-
By far the best skill in the game. PvE, its 100% guaranteed unlimited instant kills. PvP, its guaranteed minimum 2 instant kills. I recently started a 2nd character as a Titan, and I have huge trouble adjusting to having actual melee for my melee. :P

Could all of you fine hunters out here start spamming the warlock theory crafting thread? We cannot let the lower classes get organized.
-
When I use gunslinger it's my favorite part about the subclass. I love being able to say "I brought a knife to a gun fight and came out on top

Edited by Sneakler: 12/5/2014 1:28:08 PMhttp://1drv.ms/1xqbf2o Watch in HD!! Not sure if it will default to that setting...click the gear! The teabag that happens after the fadeaway knife headshot had a backstory and I generally do not engage in such vicious acts : ) That guy was an "MLG" wannabe that was sitting on my buddies throughout the game fusion rifling it up...it was a justified teabag. There are 4 knife kills in this video...you may not like me personally after the video but I hope you get a good laugh : ) That is not my actual voice but a fake voice I do it is called "1940's announcer voice" The throwing knife for my first few hundred crucible rounds I felt like I would have preferred a melee type special attack like the bladedancer has...and now that I can't get enough of Destiny PvP the throwing knife has become something I feel is amazing. This might sound dumb...but the way it clicked for me...was to not view it as a throwing knife but as an extension of your players body. (insert penis joke here) If you imagine the knife is a laser beam or a fusion rifle shot that just takes time to arrive at its target it will soon erase any thoughts of how am I supposed to hit another human moving target with this little knife/knive. This is coming from someone who proudly has zero fusion rifle kills. As someone who destroys people in the Crucible I would suggest using the two knives as well. If your player is an all discipline/intellect build (which most gunslingers should be) and you turn on the two knives it is basically making up for the fact that you have no strength items on because you now have two knives constantly cooling down and most of the time you will always have one ready to go when you need it in those CQB scenarios. If you found this video to be funny here is another short 2 minute or so long mini montage! http://1drv.ms/1BQYHsL

Agreed!
-
Heck yeah. Dropping every enemy on patrol with precision throwing knife hits is fantastic. I just think using gunslinger is more entertaining in general.
-
I love it when I remember I have it.
-
It sucks in pvp but i love it in pve. I have 2 and they both set enemies on fire >:D
-
Shoulder charge > warlock melee/Hunter melee > throwing knife/titan melee Power wise
-
Me the amount of time I've hit a blinker and then Thorn throwing knife and watch them run to die is awesome I use burning damage and it's a thing of beauty even the hit box for head shots is huge
-
One time in PVE I went on a 19 kill streak with the insta-recharge and double throwing knife skills. It was fun
-
The throwing knife is a staple of my destiny diet, I love that you can throw it mid reload with stopping the reload, sooooo useful
-
I love them. I just wish the flaming throwing knife would have 1 more tick of damage added to it so it would actually kill people when you manage to stick it between someone's eyes.
-
It's the highlight of being a Hunter. It's a great oh crap weapon to use. Low on ammo? Target not close enough for Melee? No super or grenades available? BOOM. Throwing knives! Pve and pvp I find it useful.... And badass!
-
If you're on playstation get a Montecarlo. With the perk throwing knives can be used as often as a secondary weapon, with or without precision kills.
-
Ditto. Can't get enough kills. Whole reason I play gunslinger
-
Have not used, like it anyway.
