I don't prefer any of those pets. My type of pet is the mutant ones. You see, I have a mutant dog that infects the souls of people he barks at causing them to live a life of infinite agony and pain. Losing thoughts from there own mind and then replacing them with corrupt thoughts of loved ones. After a few years the infection also spreads to there skin causing them to turn green and projectile vomit whenever they take a step. Lastly the infection causes everything the carrier touches into stone. That includes everything from grass to human beings. They die shortly after there there child's first birthday with a seizure and bloody vomit. Just kidding I prefer a goldfish.
