So to those who maxed out on gear with light and hit the lv. 30 mark, almost kinda pointless to grind gear anymore huh? So I'm thinking and suggestion to Bungie to raise the level cap pass 30 but since your light is maxed out, here's another method: Ascendant levels that allow the player to choose 2 different paths with an amped up and revamped skill tree, but of course you get to keep all the previous skills you've earned in your journey but if you want to obtain these new and improved powers just keep playing the game like you did before so level up: PATH OF LIGHT - this route is the journey of the Traveler with supportive abiliites to help you and your allies. PATH OF DARKNESS - like the title says, pick this path if you want power and destruction. So here's an example of an Ascendant level Titan Striker Class who has chosen the darkside: Fist of Havoc -Death from Above perk equipped. DfA upgraded by playing the game as an Ascendant. DfA now becomes Death from Abyss -> significantly increase the blast radius of Fist of Havoc. or a Titan choosing the path of light: DfA now becomes Light from Above -> enemies who survives or not caught by your Super are temporarily blind several meters away. Furthermore to increase your level you must consume Motes of Light, and it'll go like this: 5 MoL = lv.31 10 MoL = lv. 32 15 MoL= lv. 33 20 MoL = lv. 34. . . .and so on. And the cap is at 40. Leveling up will increase your base damage from your weapons, abilities and supers when you fight higher level enemies in PvE and higher level gear.. . .that is if Bungie goes pass lv. 30. Note: I haven't hit lv. 30 yet since I haven't got time to raid and my mic is damaged.
