Suros nerf Bungie Please Read
Look I dont have the Suros and Bungie you can check my account I have NEVER had the Suros. But I cant understand why you talk of nerfing the Suros to me this makes no sense.
Lets look at the Suros, its mildy better than a legendary Auto rifle damage wise. But what do you get when you select the Suros, you lose a valuable slot for another exotic. To me this is fair.
I have been on the receiving end of the Suros and thats fine, but so many Suros people have been on the receiving end of my other exotics.
I think when you start to play around with the PvP mechanics too much you might aswell remove all exotics and normalize all damage for all weapons. It starts to become like Counter Strike, not Halo, in Halo you have to run around and pick up weapons...
I would say please dont do this, the point of taking one exotic is you lose the ability to use another, and yes a exotic auto rifle should be better than any other type of auto rifle.
Also if your looking at nerfing things you will start to look at exotic hand cannons etc, which to me, when in the hands of a skilled player are more deadly.
I would like to hear other peoples comments. Also Im not saying this as the Suros is now again for sale on Xur, I will still run my current setup for PvP with no Suros. I prefer shotgun kills.

I feel like if a gun is only good in the hands of a skilled player as you're saying the exotic handcannons are...then they don't need to mess with them. I enjoy my 3 or 4 shot kills that actually take some amount of skill to get rather than just spray and pray with an AR

1 ReplyFirstly I aint that hot at pvp and avoided it at all costs. Now I do play pvp and while I am still getting the hang of the maps, I still aint that hot. Suros was my fav for long enough in the game world and in pvp. If I got you in my sights I was in with a chance at putting you down(bodyshots). Now I find I have to roll 3 head shots back to back in order to get you down, in some cases 4 head shots. What was the deal before the nerf? 1 head shot/2 headshots? I never played back then but I do now and I hate the fact that I have to spend so much fecking time trying to score 3 to 4 headshots in a row. Really this was the result of the nerf, it was planned to be this way? Or am I missing the point? This bit is my rant, being scottish, this is how we talk, deal with it! Yeah Im bitter, downhearted and miffed. Not because I sux at pvp but because Ive signed up to another pile of nerfing morons. Show me the logic/data that inspired the nerf and I may well retract my rant and apologise. .

The problem I have with Suros isn't that it's a powerful autorifle - it's that it is a powerful autorifle that outclasses most exotics of any other primary "type" ( pulse rifles, scout rifles, hand cannons ). You could run around in pvp with any other primary type at any range against a Suros and still be at a disadvantage. Don't get me wrong - it should be an amazing gun, all exotics should ( though that isn't always the case ), but it shouldn't outperform all other exotics that can go in the slot, it kills weapon variety ( especially in pvp ) when none of the other options give you as much of an advantage as that one choice.

4 RepliesIt's going to get nerfed... For the most part because almost all the cries for "nerf vex mythoclast" came from suros and shotgun wielding pvp players. Now the suros is better than the mythoclast.. The gun they wanted nerfed. Unfortunately whenever people complain about balance it will result in a total balance change for almost all weapons. It's best to just adapt and not complain about any weapon as they will always modify all guns in an attempt to balance out the game.

If they want like Call of Duty they should just have an auto rifle sniper rifle do a set amount of damage. Or go with the wow route and have gear and weapons dominate. Raiders should be the best because it has the best gear. That being said l, gears too easy to get in this game and that's another subject entirly.

I would love a exotic to help me in Nightfall or a Raid like the Suros. Not a level 1 AC painted like a Suros, because PVP can't handle PVE weapons and Bungie didn't have the foresight to separate the settings.

I just bought it this morning not realizing it was getting a nerf. I hate all the nerf complaints. My last word is way better in pvp than suros regime.

It's no biggy, There's a lot of people asking or talking of nerfing this and buffing another, how about you just use a different weapon? One you like? If you don't like any of them use grenades. If you don't like grenades, use your super and finally if you don't like your super wtf you playing? I'd like to see terrible threads nerfed.

8 RepliesThey should just make one single "crucible" version of each weapon. If you have suros equipped, you spawn with the crucible auto rifle. If you have icebreaker equipped, you spawn with the crucible sniper rifle, etc etc. They need to stop changing shit based on pvp. They're chasing balance that is impossible to achieve, because the game is fundamentally unbalanced due to passive abilities on weapons and armor.

I even remember people saying it sucked because of focus fire. There is nothing op about it. Even it's exotic ability isn't that great. 99% of the time it never kicks. I hardly see anyone use it anymore. People have gotten other exotics to use.

But im not gunna lie for some reason suros is a beast of a gun just got it and damn i usually wouldnt say this but its op lol i havent even upgraded it yet i love it maybe its just me... im against nerfing weapons fyi

Ive noticed more people use a wider variety in guns now. See the main reason for this is because since time has past, a larger population have better weapons from raids etc, that fit their playstyle
