With all the negativity I see when I lurk around these forums I've been seriously debating whether this idea was worth posting. I'm not sure whether it's even possible or if anyone will notice this. Also if this is in the wrong forum section then my bad, but here goes anyways. Sparrow races. I've heard and read many a cry for this activity, and we could use something like it. The most I have ever seen random guardians work together was at the loot cave. While bungie frowned upon that group activity, maybe (if it works) this could be a different story. By now you're saying "shut-up Mokobo and get to the point" Imagine four fireteams all meet up in the same patrol area, lets say the Mothyards on earth. Two fireteams rush off to the designated start line, and one guardian from the others follows to be a start/finish checkpoint and referee. The remaining five guardians go whipping off to random places in the area, each one progressively further away. The six racers line their sparrows up as the ref starts the countdown. With the word go the racers shoot off to each checkpoint guardian, flipping around at the last to make a mad-dash to the finish. Now I know theres problems with this idea: -these would be races on the honor system and lag could also affect checkpoint guardians view -im not even sure you can plan to get fireteams to be on the same layer. My original idea was for the races to go from area to area but i realize now that wont work -there isn't a chat large enough unless the races are relatively small (maybe one fireteam of racers) but bungie might just fix that soon Well there it is people. Please let me know what you think or maybe add some ideas of your own. After all I'm posting this so that maybe we as a community can work it out.
