I bought their album for full price when it first came out. After listening to all twelve songs I realized the album was just an EP with four songs on it that repeated with different titles. It was the only new music I had at the time. So, rather than listen to nothing, I listened to the EP during a 15 hour drive I was making and I still listen to it but only occasionally.
The instrumentals were pretty good so I didn't mind listening to them over and over too much during that 15 hours. I really can't tell you what the songs are about though because none of them have a chorus and the majority of the lyrics are overly cryptic.
Needless to say, I'm not very satisfied. I'm sure some of you are going to say, "you got your money worth, where else are you going to get 15 hours of entertainment for $15? It costs more than that just to go to the movies." How long I listened to that EP, or the fact that I still have it, is irrelevant. The point is, I paid for an LP and only got an EP. It's repetitive, only contains about a third of the content as a full album, and the meaning of the majority of it isn't even clear.

I figured they probably didn't have a lot of fans anymore.

You know, I had high hopes for the album. It feels like songs that the band were talking about a year ago were just missing. And what's up with those hidden tracks that's nothing but dead air, no music at all? I did really like the band member's previous band, John and The Spartans. They were great until they got a new lead singer on their last album, Reach. It was good, but came out so long ago, I guess I got my hopes up for this new band.
