Dear Bungie, I would like to start by saying that I do enjoy Destiny, and I am hopeful for the series to go in a positive direction. However, I have to agree that there are many things that need to be fixed or tweaked before it reaches its own "Golden Age". For me, a primary objective, besides the need for more story content, that needs to be fixed is the loot system, and here is an idea that might remedy it slightly. "Sedna's Dreamcatcher"*** Item Type: Consumable Price: Greater than 10000 Glimmer Vendors: Cryptarch / Gunsmith Available After Level 20 Other Areas: Extremely Rare Drop from Loot Chests Lore Description: "This artifact of the Golden Age was found on Venus at a previously Vex-held research facility. Within some of the man-made ruins, this, and a letter, were found on the body of a long dead Guardian." --------------------------------- Your servants are getting restless. Give this a try. - The Inuit Goddess of the Sea --------------------------------- (Note: I know that Bungie makes the lore, but it's just a suggestion.) Effect: Increases the rate of finding Legendary* and Exotic Items from Engrams by 25 to 50%, during Patrols, High-Level Strikes and Raids, and The Crucible. (* Also, this would make it so the likelihood of getting Legendary armor or weapons from engrams more than 90%. This excludes Ascendant Materials.) (*** Maybe more ideas are needed.) Advantages: > Give Glimmer a purpose again after Level 20. > Allows players who don't have the advantage of playing freely can still progress in the game. Limitations: > The actual length of the effect is no longer that five minutes, but possibly greater than one minute. > The cool-down time after using one is one full week. > You can only carry a maximum of three in your inventory. > After using one, you will not find any Legendary or Exotic Engrams randomly throughout the world during the cool-down. However, this excludes Tower Vendors and Activity Rewards. This might not settle well with some people, but it's just an idea.
