It has happened, Bungie are nerfing PLAYERS!

As we all know Bungie are big fans of nerfing aspects of Destiny without fixing the problems behind them. Some of the nerfs I have agreed with, and some I haven't, and I am sure we have all had similar thoughts on the matter. With the weekly update, it has been said that during the Atheon fight, rather than the furthest 3 players being teleported, instead it will be a random 3. Now I don't think I need to get into the reason why this is a terrible idea, as anyone who plays with a regular team knows just how badly this is going to ruin the flow of the encounter, and how it will destroy a month of fine tuning to get your team acting as a well oiled machine. They claim that the current teleporting selection is a bug. A bug I haven't seen mentioned before. Anywhere. I may have missed it but I haven't seen this mechanic called a bug before. It wasn't called a bug when a team made history beating the VOG before anyone else and were celebrated and rewarded by Bungie. It wasn't a bug when the first team completed the VOG on hard mode. But now that more and more people are completing the raid, and with nothing else to do until December, suddenly it is a bug. They are so scared that people are finishing all the content too fast, so that when December rolls around the player base will have dramatically decreased due to lack of content and nobody will be interested enough in the game anymore to buy DLC. They are essentially nerfing the players, or more specifically they are nerfing teams of people who have found a strategy that works well for them. No longer will we be allowed to play to our groups strengths and weaknesses, making us less a team and more a group of individuals. They are inventing "bugs" so they have a reason to nerf the players in the blind hope that more people wont finish the VOG and perhaps stick around until December. Yes this is a rant, and yes this is my personal opinion based almost entirely on speculation. But since Activision is the publisher it is safe to assume that every single decision made is an attempt to increase profits, and not improve the players' experience. I love this game, but it is getting harder to love with every decision made. So please, Bungie, don't break the raid. I promise, if you keep the game fun people will buy the DLC, myself included. No polls for this, no questions asked, just my opinion and how I see things after too much beer and too little sleep, which for some reason I want DeeJ or someone from Bungie to read. EDIT: For those who think this is about keeping the raid as easy as possible, it is not. It is about eliminating the most fun aspect of the raid: teamwork. This is the only place teams currently have to try strategies and roles, strategies they have been perfecting for weeks. So what if teams are getting too good at the raid, isn't that the point? Eventually the new mechanics will become easy too so it isn't really making the raid harder, just eliminating the one area in the game where we can effectively work as a team, rather than just a group of individuals.
