Cast your vote! Just curious to see how many people will buy the DLC, with all the varying opinions on this forum. (If you have the season pass, just vote Yes since you already bought it.)
Personally I just bought it last night. I paid $60 for the game, and I've put more time into it in a month and a half (150+ hours) than both the last two CoDs combined in two years. Seeing as how I bought both those games for full price ($120 total), I feel like I've already completely gotten my monies worth. Paying an extra $35 for two DLCs that, from the leak of all the placeholders, looks like it will nearly double the content we have now, seems like a solid deal for me.
To each their own though, so I want to know what you think about the DLC. Please keep it respectful, and refrain from insulting people, even though I know that's a lot to ask.

If the Raid really IS PS exclusive for a year, then no. I also will probably stop playing Destiny altogether.

Edited by MrFuddyDuddy: 10/25/2014 5:37:06 PMTheir wasn't a I already did unfortunately option D: Game is fun and all and yes I have like 300 hours played already but 275 of them are from completing the same things over and over again, which has gotten rather stale lately as all their is really for me to do in this game now is grind out the Raid for the rest of the gear I want from it, which has proven fruitless as I've gotten nothing but duplicates and materials the last 3 or 4 raids. The next 2 DLC's are basically just going to be a continuum of the same grindfest BS and the new campaign levels their adding are also likely going to just consist of the same 2 things we've been doing all game. 1: go from A to B and kill stuff 2: Go from A to B and defend Dinklebot which boils down to killing stuff....

Yes. I got money. People get screwed for everything they buy... Every single day. Always. Profit. The shoes you wear. That thing you just ate. That beer in your fridge. If I get 20 hours of playtime for that 20 bucks it's worth every penny of it. Not trying to be an ass but I just feel this way:)

Money is'nt the Problem and i really enjoy the Game but i wont buy the dlc...You are just able to reach lvl 30 if u know a lot of peoples. Thx, no need. I would probably buy it if this includes a seperate way to lvl up

Edited by Lovetrees: 10/25/2014 4:50:49 PMIB will allow you to get thirty now, I already have the DLC.

Well the numbers are in and once again it shows the whiners and quitters are by far in the minority. Looks like maybe 5% aren't going to buy it and maybe 10% are undecided. All you cry babies just need to take a look at this poll right here and see you are once again in the minority.
-
You would think from all the itching* on these forums there would be more "no"s. Glad to see the vocal minority is just that.
-
I already put in the expansion pass code I got with my copy, I might as well stick around and see what it is.
-
I have the Ghost edition.. so I can not really deny to buy them as I already did...
-
If you where smart u got it already...why did you wait to spend uneeded cash
-
The two dlc costs $56 in uk. Hell no, I'm not buying no dlc
-
I bought it, and regret it...for the rest of my life. The hell with dlc! Burn them! Burn them down to the ground!!
-
It depends on how good the new cod is but if the dlc story will be exactly like the "story" we got in the game, then I highly doubt I will buy it.
-
No. Judging from what i seen in the main game, I highly doubt that the dlc is gonna be game changing. Its more than likely content that should have been in the game already but bungie wants to see if they can make more money. Its gonna be the same 3 missions of protect dinklebot while you fight hordes of enemies. The same two strikes where you whail on a boss for hours, and a raid which is the only appealing part of it
-
Yes. Haven't had this much fun with a game in a long time. It has its faults and I've voiced some right here, but it is good entertainment nonetheless.
-
Got the Ghost edition already paid :D
-
Edited by Fawkzi: 10/23/2014 2:33:49 PMNope, not buying it. (Not because i own the season pass, i don't. I'm just not throwing more money at a company that i feel has already screwed me) The only reason i haven't traded it in right now is because a buddy of mine works at "GAME" here in the UK and told me that they will be doing the "Trade in X game get X amount of money off of X new release" with Destiny toward AC: Unity.
-
I haven't decided yet. If all they add is one raid and a few missions on the areas we have already explored to death then I'm not sure it will be worth it. I love the mechanics of this game but I'm so bored with the places that I've had to retread 100 times.
-
Undecided, video makes good points.
-
No. I could see myself buying it if a week or two after release people are raving about how amazing it is; but I'm not going to pre-order it or buy it blind.
-
It's Activision, they are greedy bastards but that doesn't mean I'm going to miss out on the dlc of one of the greatest games ever made.
-
Nope I doubt it will add anything worth paying for. Also, I will be busy with other games when the DLC comes out.
-
I have played this game every day. I want the expansions.
-
Yes. Will buy all of them. Does that mean that the game is without flaws? No. The game has several issues that need sorting but it is still the only thing I want to play. In it for the long haul.

I bought the special edition :D
