Destiny: The Lies Before Launch
Bungie specifically saying we could go to this specific place and then not giving that to us after we PAID FOR IT INFURIATES me. Bungie NEEDS to answer for this. This is LYING. This is RIPPING OFF paying customers.
I guess we'll be able to go there in DLC 2 or 3, or whatever one each of us happens to buy, which I PRAY TO GOD WILL BE NONE FOR EVERYONE. I am SURE AS HELL NOT BUYING ANYTHING ELSE FROM BUNGIE.

2 RepliesLike going to some remote hill you see in the distance just for the hell of it would drastically improve the quality of the game. Get a grip man. You gripers would go to that remote hill one freaking time and never go back. Then you would post crap like "Why are the most remote areas of the game so barren? Why are there no enemies on this remote hill? Oh we need a fast travel from this pointless remote hill to the public events. Why are there no people on this shitty little remote hill because I thought this was an MMO?" You gripers are so full of shit and will never be happy. And from a value proposition it's not like you paid $6,000 for the game. You paid 60 measly dollars. If $60 is an amount that gets you so butthurt because you didn't have a seat at the design table, focus your energies on getting a better job instead of spreading negativity in the forums. Seriously. If one sees 5 movies at a movie theatre in a year, for example, that's about $60 for only 10 hours of total entertainment that you are unable to revisit and probably won't even think about ever again. And the trailer will probably be the best part of the movie. WTF should you reasonably expect from a video game? 5,000 hours of gameplay and free DLC for life? Perspective man.

1 ReplyI like these threads keep them comming, companies need to see this stuff, there loads of threads on it for a reason. I dont like all the idiotic comments from kids who, spent mummy & daddys money or fanboy comments who cant see past the fog of bullshit and comment with 'get over it', 'go play cod', 'well you've played x ammount of hours', 'you're accounts not linked', 'if you did your research', 'trade it in'. Sure we could do that but that dosent resolve it or prevent it happening in the future. It was a fun game at first and one i expected to play for alot longer than 3 weeks. I do truely hope they do something not involving money to rectify it.

It's nice that you're discussing something that so many find important and all. But there are already a number of threads with the same topic, that feature both the video and a complete list of what was in it that didn't make it to the launch version. So I have to wonder why you couldn't post it one of those threads... where heavy discussion has already taken place and new readers would have lots of reference for all sides of the discussion? As opposed to starting a brand new one which hasn't brought anything new to the discussion; but which would have been very useful to add to the compendium of info that already exists in the aforementioned threads. I'm not quite understanding why we need multiple threads, which rehash old information, on this subject everyday and usually simultaneously in the top 3 pages. As opposed to one, very well written thread on the topic; which has comments from hundreds of people already. Indeed, I posit that those of you who feel lied to should ban together and create one very well organized thread on the matter... which details exactly every issue that you all have with the "promises" that Bungie and Activision made during the advertising campaign for Destiny. At least... that's what I would do if I felt so strongly about it.

Or we cut our losses and forget what could have been. So far for me, its the latter. I haven't bought the DLC and Im still debating whether I will or not.
