I love Destiny and hate destiny sometimes. I love grinding and dont mind repetitive gameplay, if i get good rewards in return. I only have isieus with the servers but thats it. But lets get to the topic.
I spend a lot of time on the forrums and i see a lot of people loving and hating, but no matter what. You guys still play the game. Why? Sorry if this question was already asked, i just want to know.
(Sorry for the bad english)

Stopped playing 2 weeks ago. Going through some PSN games from my backlog(finished Child of Light, Dust: An Elysian Tale and now Outlast). Waiting for my Evil Within copy to arrive, since I had to import it from the UK, cause the german version doesn't have english voice over and german voice over sucks. After that...waiting for DA: Inquisition and GTA5 PS4 port. Way too many good games out and about to come out to even waste another min on this fail of a game. PS: All the PSN games I mentioned...and all of them cost 15-20€ had a better and way longer story than Destiny...think of that...

Cause farcry 4 isn't out yet

Another reason: I am a sadist and a loser.

It's about time someone asked this question sensibly rather that screaming their heads off threatening to take Bungie to court. Destiny is by no means perfect, but I'd rather they took their time and got future content right rather than rush and make a pigs ear of it. This game is too much of an investment to let it slip just like that, so rest assured there are developers fingers typing furiously as we moan.

Quit this game. Wtf Bungie.. You kidnapped 500 ideas from the best games out there.. Still could not make a game that works? Just an akward, pile of shit. Sad. I used to love Bungie.

Waiting for GTA V and I'm tired of my Xbox one games.

Because.... I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was. To get the raid gear is my real test, to upgrade it is my cause. I will travel across the vault searching far and wide....

Edited by BlaqSpiral: 10/22/2014 8:46:48 PMI'm a combination of two things... everything else I own is played out and I have this stupid sense of hope that one day I'll turn the game on and it will be way better. I realize that sounds dumb, but I really bought into how this game was marketed. Perhaps it was a vanity piece at E3 2013, but I really thought we would get more that than this. I'm pretty sure I'm done with Destiny once dragon age hits.

I don't care for loot, I play because I'm hooked. I've got three different characters I can grind away with, always have something to do because replaying missions isn't boring to me, if I can't be assed with that I'll kick back on patrol and level some weapons. And when I want to feel the challenge, turn the difficulty up and go slaughter the weekly/nightfall solo or with some buds

I play because I'm too lazy to take it out of the ps4. I play because I like the mechanics of the game. I play because I'm waiting for Dragon Age Inquisition. I play because I'm too busy to go rent 1-5 other games I'd probably like more. I play because I really didn't like Watchdogs. I play because I kinda forgot about BF4.

Waiting for AC, gta and far cry. Maybe ill keep the game when some extra content is coming soon (need more strikes...), but i think ill trade it in in a few weeks.

Right now I am honestly only still playing because I finally got some raid armor to upgrade. Once that is done though, it will be back to "Tuesday rewards day" only until I get that third piece of raid armor.

I play because I really like the game. I don't need any more reasons than that.
