what if exotic bounties was the only way to get exotics
i like the fact that you earn exotics through bounties dont get me wrong i like xur he balances us bad luck guys out with the good luck guys.
But what if exotic bounties was the only way to get exotics however getting exotic bounties wasnt rng but you can select it if you ask me thats earning it
anythoughts, feeling, terrible idea shutup

Well supposedly there is one exotic armor per class that xur doesn't sell as well as one gun. This would be nice think about it you could get a bounty lead for the vex mythoclast by completing the VoG and have a small chance but the only way to get it is by doing a series of challenges in normal and hard VoG. The only thing is the bounty could be obtained from normal or hard but completing it would include a part from hard it would be something like this. Get the bounty from normal or hard atheon. Step 1: complete the Vault of Glass on normal or hard mode. Step 2: kill praetorians in the Vault of Glass to obtain an Vex ammo capacitor. Step 3: defeat the Templar on Hard difficulty to obtain The Journal of Kabr. Step 4: kill Oracles in The Vault of Glass until the Journals secrets are revealed. Step 5: bring the journal to the Cryptarch. Step 6: bring the shattered Kabr Memory to the Speaker. Step 7: return the Mythoclast blueprints to the gunsmith. Step 8: take Mythoclast frame to Xùr Agent of the Nine. Step 9: purchase Antique Golden Age Trigger Module and Core Relay Device. Step 10: Bring Antique Golden Age Trigger Module and Core Relay Device to Ikora Rey. Step 11: take binded Mythoclast frame to The Vault of Glass and kill hobgoblins until the frame is activated. Step 12: defeat Atheon on Hard difficulty to obtain Vex Relay Mind Stock. Step 13: bring Vex Relay Mind Stock to Xùr. Step 14: purchase complete Vex Mythoclast for 30 Motes of Light.

I would be cool with that but I would like to see a seperation between pve/pvp. Im one of those non-pvp guys that hate the idea of doing crucible to get exotic bounties done. Its the only part of the idea of weapon bounties I hate.

1 ReplyIt's not fun if everyone can do it my buddy got aPlan c to drop good for him I got a pocket infinity exotic bounty to drop I hadda grind but I don't care good for me....... You really should have to earn your exotics from the raid on hard but since bungie has terrible designers ya can just cheat to down two bosses so that won't work either. Their system is fine for exotics or should I call them yellow purples cause that's all they are now.

9 RepliesI think this would be more fun, but the bounties should be a little tougher. So far I've gotten 4 of the 5 guns available through bounties: Bad Juju- time consuming but easy Invective- easy but the multiplayer goal was a great example of how an exotic bounty should look Super Good Advice- entirely too easy Thorn- a perfect example of what an exotic quest chain should look like. I also think these shouldn't take up a bounty slot, having two of these at once was a major pain in the neck

1 ReplyI think they should have more than 5 exotic bounties and I think that out of those bounties they should have more than one decent gun because as of right now the only gun worth a damn is Invective, all of the others pretty much suck as it currently stands.

1 ReplyI think I would be kinda cool, other then I would only have one then. I've been playing since day one and have only received one exotic bounty. My friend though has had six or seven! So they would need to change that maybe?

1 ReplyThat's how it should be. No Xur selling or random drop in PvP. Purple engrams should give you bounty missive for weapons and gear. And yes you should be able to pick what slot.
