You can't blame Activision. it's obvious what happened:
[b][u]Bungie[/u][/b] got rid of their music director, creative director, and the guy with the story.. along with tons of the awesome devs that went to 343.

You and another person invest in car dealership. You invest with them because they have a history of doing well and they invest with you for the same reason.
You both have a history of doing well because you have people under you, people you have hired, people that can sell cars. Now imagine that you invested more money than they did, you did this because his [u]team[/u] has better sales numbers than your team.
Now, what would you do if his top people decided to quit, and when they quit they took 100 of your best selling cars and they destroyed them?
Well, like any competent person, you'd do what you could to recoup your losses.. losses you've received [i]because[/i] of the actions of your partner.
[i]This is what Activision is doing.. and there is nothing wrong with it.[/i]
[b]tl;dr[/b] version: You give your buddy $30 to throw down for a nice bottle of bourbon, he comes back with it open and half gone.. is it [i]wrong [/i]for you to leave with what amounts to your half?
