Bungie seriously just gave me an awesome birthday present.
Check out my guardian, and you'll see how new all of my gear is.
So the 19th is my birthday, and it was the day I was finally able to get a team of 6 people together to do the raid on normal difficulty, and over the course of the raid I got a fistful of Ascendant Shards, The Cuirass and Greaves of the Hezen Lords, AND Praedyth's Revenge!!! On my first try!!! A few days ago I found my first exotic, the Apotheosis Veil, which I had been craving for a long time.
So after the raid was over and I had an awesome time and all of that, I went to finish up the PvP bounties and got my first Exotic Bounty, I'm choosing the Invective.
Seriously, I don't care if you don't believe me because of how awesome it sounds, but check my gear - it's barely leveling up.
I'm 22, and stoked as hell. My only other wish would be that there was more Destiny to play, but that's coming....soon.

6 Replieslucky you.... Most of the times I get ascendant material only. (like half the time I got full ascendant mat run) Did the raid (with possible loot) like 14 times between my 3 characters, and 2 game modes: got 13 chatterwhite. the last one gave me the ugly legendary ship. I looted a total of 4 raid armor (2 hunter's, then one warlock & titan) and a couple other weapons. A friend of mine did the raid with us last week for the first time with that new character and got raid gloves, chest, and boots (with nice spreaded stats not full intel like my hunter)... but WAIT! there's more!!! he then proceeded to loot mida's multi tool AND monte carlo. Basically he can now go on to be lvl 30 after 2 weeks gameplay while I'm still waiting for a 3 raid gear.
