Ok, so lets start with the problems. For the past few days me and a couple of friends have been not only lagging, but being booted out of level 28 missions. The error comes up as we are no longer connected to the servers and to check OUR internet. The chat system is broken, at random times I will lose all communications with my one of my teammates but not the other(s). The engram problem actually wasn't that big of a problem in my eyes. Before the patch, I would get legendaries at a comfortable rate, go up sometimes I would get a rare, but when I did get a legendary it was more of a surprise and when I leveled up in the crypt arch or in one of the other companies. I would get a legendary, if it turned into a rare, meh no big deal, ill just wait for the next one. After the patch, I hardly ever get any legendaries and when I do; it doesnt feel the same. Destiny as it sits now, the armor doesn't mean JACK SHIT to the game. You opened up the iron banner to everyone because you didn't want to feel the lower levels feel left out. What was the point in making the iron banner then? The iron banner was suppose to be the place where we could fight like real warriors based on the strength of our gear, weapons and skills alone. But people started whining and you had to play the good guy and let everyone in; which is total BS. The ARMOR and WEAPONS are everything to a player. Why make us go through all this fighting and raiding to get top notch gear and exotic, do you know how long it takes to farm enough relic iron to upgrade an exotic piece of armor or weaponry? A LONG TIME! I am gonna stop ranting not and get back to my point. Look at other MMOs, Runescape, WoW, it all has different tiers of activities for the higher ranked players, and if you are not strong enough, tough luck. Get stronger then come play with the big boys. That is my feeling toward the Iron Banner, and here is my example. When the iron banner was open, I was playing control in the iron banner. I had just captured a flag and a level 8 comes up behind me and blows me away with a common shotgun that only does 81 damage… My defense was 1128, so please tell me how that works if Armor is your best friend in the Iron banner. Ok to the weapons, What is with the same damage cap on all the weapons? I believe the exotics should have a higher cap than legendary's if I can only carry one exotic weapon at a time. In my opinion, there is nothing EXOTIC about these weapons in the first place. They just have different names, color, and abilities than the Legendaries. The same ability you can get on any gun. Now after tearing into you like that, I will tell you some of the things i think will make this game AMAZING. First off, I would like to see. A customization mechanic towards the weapons. You can only do it one time and thats only after you proven yourself to your individual vanguards. Being able to choose one special ability, and one part (heavy ammo, skip shot etc.) A middle region between the planets and the tower, being able to fly through space and fight each other with our ships. Upgradable weapons on our ships. Random events in space, for example, being able to lands on newly discovered moons of planets complete a quick mission and get a cache of items (depending on difficulty) ranging from upgrading materials to strange coins. (this would also open up new ways to pvp, pitting good and upstanding guardians against the ones evil and bad ones. Also good for PVE.) A trading system between other players would be nice, a lot of times I would get a helmet that a friend needs and he would have materials I need, This would test a economy type mechanic in destiny. If it works out then could add a trading system with NPCs that would offer upgrading materials for strange coins or motes of light. The reason I say motes of light or strange coins, is because the strange coins and motes of light are used for buying exotic gear and legendary name tags from the speaker, among other things. The ones who don't wish to spend their coins on materials and save them for the exotic salesman, will still go out and farm the materials. Eliminating the reason to take out the farming process entirely.
