Should Destiny have Dual Wield?

I was on the toilet when I thought of a great Idea, but I would like to know what the rest of my fellow Guardians thought. My Idea being, if you have a pistol in your main weapon slot, and another one in your secondary weapon slot, should you be able to Dual wield? I thought it would be pretty neat, but it probably would be a lot easier said then done. Just an Idea.

No. Realistically you wouldn't be able to effectively dual wield pistols (especially Hand Cannons), that is purely movie/game bs. 1. The recoil is strong even with a proper two-handed grip. -There is no way you'd be able to dual wield and be able to use them with one hand much less be accurate with both (especially at the same time). Hand Cannons are Heavy Revolvers, repeatedly using these types of weapons can easily injure your wrists especially if they are being misused. They are NOT meant to be used with one hand. You will not see game hunters using only one hand to aim and fire something like a friggin Casull. http://picturearchive.gunauction.com/1750144520/11400253/DSC_22641.JPG 2. Maintaining a good grouping would be very difficult if not impossible. -This is a gun with a heavy amount of recoil. These guns are ALWAYS used with two hands, at the rate we can fire them in game if you try to run them with only one hand at the fastest rate possible you'll likely miss all your shots unless you were very close range or if it was a Cabal. Your accuracy (especially if you weren't ambidextrous) would go down the toilet with regular guns and would get even worse with the heavy Handcannon. 3. Reloading would be difficult. -Since Handcannons are Revolvers they are reloaded via a cylinder rather than a magazine. In game we use Speedloaders to reload our guns....you need both hands for that. When you use both your Handcannons (whether simultaneously or by alternating fire) you'll run out with both then it'll take a good long while before they are loaded and ready to go. If you use only one at a time then you might as well either just run with one so that its reload is less or just keep the second one holstered until use. When you reload using a speedloader you will need on hand to flick out the cylinder and hold the weapon and the other will be using the loader. You can't do that while its occupied by another weapon. You could not dual wield something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APv0U_XaK_E And that is a Hand Cannon and there is NO WAY you would be able to use two of those at the same time without injury or just plain not hitting anything.... Edit: Its personal preference but dual wielding handguns its kind of old....it looks cool for a few minutes but it seems like a number of games and movies love to do this and it just is kinda meh to me.
