A question for DeeJ. Regarding the VoG. EDIT

So the community, to my knowledge, is not going to be happy with the upcoming update to the Vault of Glass. My question is for the fine people at Bungie, are you folks listening to us at all? I support the 'baby bumper' 1000% and I am sure everyone else does. Even the cheaters. What I can't accept is that you are messing with our strategy to take on the Vault. You guys wanted us to play the game our way but with the upcoming patch, its not our way at all. I am good in and out of the portal and can handle the relic fine. I am speaking for those who can't and are use to their roles. It is going to create mass confusion when people are going to decide what they need to do on the fly. People will start to get angry at each other. Friendships will be broken. For the frail at least. DeeJ can you seriously answer me? Are you guys gonna take our request in to consideration? Or are you going to just brush me under the carpet? ( Meaning no answer at all) An answer is better than nothing bro. Don't forget to like so it can trend. I need supporters if you guys actually want to see if DeeJ responds or not. EDIT: I forgot to mention. Why aren't you guys/gals addressing the issue where Atheon only sends 2 people in instead of three? EDIT: After reading a few comments. I like Shadow Hearth's idea he said: "I'm fine with the update as long a they put the Atheon random porting in the hard mode difficulty only, by then most players should know how to handle each encounter and role. It's called hard mode for a reason, keep normal alone so fresh raiders can still learn the raid." This is an amazing idea. I hope Bungie takes that in to consideration. EDIT: Thanks for all the support! Keep your ideas and opinions coming! I would like to know why DeeJ is not answering. You are under a lot of fire right now. Say something at least. Whatever the case, we will have to deal with this update for now. Which I am fine with. LAST EDIT: Deej responded. Not in this thread. But his own. I will take that as a response though. Deej, if you are reading this, thank you. Seriously, taking this feedback and any other feedback and sitting down with developers expressing how we feel means a lot. Yes i understand that some things cant always go our way. But to hear that you are relaying how we feel and what we want is good enough than ignoring it completely. I will continue with feedback like you wished. Link to his response: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/74341953/0/0 He did not mention me or anything about this thread. But to my knowledge, I was the only one on top of the trending page with feedback so I am going to assume this was partially directed towards me.

  • I'd like to mention a feedback I had given before about knocking people off, with a suggested fix. Knocking enemies off platforms is a viable strategy wherever it is. It's impossible, though, to angry enemies. If they didn't want knocking off to happen, they could just make Atheon angry. Or better yet, since it's wise to launch a rocket below an enemy at just the right spot to send them over a cliff, make it so players are still rewarded for TRYING the strategy... by making it so he takes damage and teleports back up. You wasted your Time's Vengeance buff hitting him over and over with supers, and knocked him over the cliff, but he's smarter than you. He takes some damage, but not an outright kill. Going to have to repeat that another 4 or 5 times, same as any focused fire... Baby bumpers is still better than an outright kill, but I just feel they could've done a better job with it. Just as well, I do well in both sections too, but I play different roles in each. Outside, I precision kill the supplicants from afar as my allies get the ones on top of us, making their job easier when I kill more, but I don't have to worry about those around me. When inside, I switch to dealing no damage to the boss because I sweep the oracles allowing for a shorter time inside with minimal effort. I even can take down oracles when completely blind, so I'm a safe choice to grab to go inside when a member is having difficulty handling the oracles. Outside, I'm a boss-killer by leaving shots for the boss and able to get him both in free hits and when he's weak. Inside, I leave nothing for the boss, and so he ends up dying slower. But I'm one of the versatile members by always finding a job I can do. But why IS Bungie suddenly calling it a bug that we can strategize, when it's how the first normal and hard groups did it? Why wait SO LONG before saying it's a bug and needs fixed? That just sounds like you're making stuff up, to which I call shenanigans. Prove it really was a bug, Bungie, or it's just shenaniganery.
