the problem with pvp

Now I know there's a million posts about this I just thought I'd throw my 2 cents into the conversation. What seems to be causing all the problems is that, unlike halo you start with whatever weapons you have. Like most fps games which do the same. People like this I do myself. However with such major differences in attack speed and damage being made pretty equal the auto rifle is king. Unlike say cod where I would use a semi auto assault rife that I could fire as fast as I could pull the trigger and I would dominate with it. See what I'm getting at?

  • No. The problem in PvP is people with little or no clue about meta game physics assuming they know whats best for an entire player base

  • The problem with pvp is that it becomes a game of who can abuse their special weapon the most.

  • Please don't compare this games PvP to CoD. They are in no way similar, other than the fact that they are both FPS games. CoD is a twitch shooter all the way. Fast reflexes are king. Destiny requires more finesse, with headshots and steady aim over a longer period of time being necessities. Auto rifles are far less dominant in this game than the one gun from every CoD game that's the best (Type 95 in MW3, AK-74u in BO, MSBS in Ghosts, etc.).
