For too long has pop culture shown us as irresponsible. Its a shame. A travesty.
People are too flippant about it. They don't understand it. It sickens me.
Why is it taboo to talk about proper gun control?
You should stand with your feet at shoulder width, dominant hand on the grip, and just the tip of your finger in the trigger well. Your non-dominant hand should be supporting your wrist. You should acquire the proper sight picture, and only then line it up on your target. Then squeeze the trigger, don't pull it.
If you don't properly control your weapon, you will miss, and possibly hurt someone.

I prefer to teach "pressing" the trigger as it doesn't make ones hand want to squeeze. Breathing, sight alignment, trigger control. Elbows slightly bent, a a 60/40 grip (dominant hand 40, non dominant hand 60), and slight forward lean to the point where the nose is over the toes.
