We have all seen numerous threads regarding the flaws with RNG, so does the community think we should replace it with a merit based system?
I.e. The higher you place in the crucible or the more you contribute in a strike or raid, the better the loot will be that you receive.

They're should be secret merit system (to avoid people from camping) Get kills, less than "x" deaths, more kills that 3 team mates combined, "x" kills while having this accuracy etc. Rewards should be given to winners. Period. That's how life is and every game I played has been.

One good example of why we need this, would be a crucible match I played a couple days ago. I scored 20 some kills, was top of the leaderboard on the winning team, and someone who joined in with a minute left in the match and got zero kills but still managed to get killed, was given the Monte Carlo exotic. Please tell me how that system got past the beta.
