First off let me begin by saying I'm enjoying Destiny, a lot. I'm not being sarcastic, nor am I saying that it isn't a good game. My question is this. Do you guys think we will ever get to see a story that feels finished? I mean the current one kinda let me down. In no way did I feel involved in the story. There was nothing to keep me interested, and it was because there wasn't a compelling story at all. Do you think that they will expand on the story and add new content that will make the games story make a bit of sense? I'm not saying that it doesn't make a little bit of sense, I'm just saying that the current one felt unfinished and bland. I know that Bungie is developing the DLC that will be released in December and I know they had to cut alot of stuff. Though I just don't know if I'm willing to buy anything else for Destiny if all they are going to do is leave the current story how it is now, and only release two or three content packs.

Did Harry Potter feel "finished" halfway through the first book?

Its unlikely we're going to see the originally planned story pan out. It seems that bungie lost a number of employees prior to release and so scrambled to piece something together in time. this would account for the poor storytelling and brevity and possibly areas on disc in stages of completion. Will we see more story? Yes. Will it be good or great? That's up in the air.

Yeah dude you just have to pay 15 or 20 buks to get 3 new missions every dlc.

Just watch

The taco bell Comercial had people actually talking leading a army, wtf? I wish we actually had something like that in the story.

I think that its an episodic game, with each expansion we get more. Then destiny 2 comes out we get more expanasion in the universe. (Like mass effect 1 to 2) They gotta keep us buying stuff to pay for there 10year plan. Theres no cash store, or monthly fees to keep servers running.

please someone go back and play the first halo, explain to me everything you know about who master chief is and cortana, then please tell me if it is "Great" imo its actually pretty bad, but halo is by far one of the best story telling games ever. So how about you complain about destiny after the story actually unfolds not at a prologue to the game..

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I appreciate it. Though, no one has answered my question. Do you think that this is it or do you think we can expect more soon?

All of the holes in the story should be filled in within the 10-year-plan time frame. So, everybody should understand the story by 2024.

I like destiny. I love FPS. Been a COD fanboy for years! I was attracted to Destiny because it offered a breath of fresh air from COD with these abilities and customizations that I never played with before. The thing I don't like: it's this game FORCES you to play every mode. To do exotic bounties you must do PvP and PVE. I play both but some people don't and I know it must suck to be basically forced to do it. Some people might not want to raid but you must if you want to hit 30. There needs to be alternatives to do thes things. The repetitive nature of strikes and nightfall also annoy me. Needs tweaking where some kind of unique thing happens every strike instead off it being 100% same. And last RNG. Just no. Period. There should be a rearward system based on how you do. ( kills, deaths, accuracy, points, something)

With Activi$ion involved, you're going to have to buy the rest of the story. Free content and a full game is an alien concept to those money grabbers.
