So I was thinking, and I also brought this up to my clan members and each one said they would love it, so here goes.
Daily log in Reward.
We already get a reward for doing our first public event of the day but what if we got rewards for logging in each day.
Maybe engrams, maybe materials, or a package with just a random chance of anything. Each day you long on, each day you get it in your mail box. Then on the Tuesday if you have logged on everyday that week, it will give you a legendary package, like the leveling up the Cyrptarch or Vanguard does ( plus your basic daily reward as Tuesday would be the start of the new week aswell as the end of the last one. )
What do you all think, would you like Daily Log in Rewards?
-
There is a daily reward system man. Ever heard of daily heroics?
-
This pretty much sums up what is wrong with Destiny at this point. We want rewards still but without having to play. It's become a boring chore. I only play now to get stuff. And now we don't get stuff. Pointless and dull. The repetition and cut content has final pushed a huge amount of players out of the game. Well done Activision and Bungie. Thinking with your wallets has shot yourselves in the foot.

Cosmetic items would be so cool if done right.

Edited by CuRsEdZx: 10/21/2014 12:53:38 PMDaily login rewards legendaries for a potential 3 minutes of gameplay a week. That sounds lazy to me. Maybe if it were only materials, but no free gear.
-
A log in reward that gives something daily, with a bigger reward for logging 7 consecutive days would be cool.
-
My Vault and Characters, for those implying I want something for nothing.
-
Logging in for 5 minutes a day for free loot is a terrible idea. Definitely not a good one for bungie either. Why do you need gifts for logging on? If Destiny is that much of a chore, take a break.
-
They should have a welfare person between the gunsmith and cryptarch where everyone can donate stuff to the unfortunate and people can stop asking for things without working.
-
No, will just be used as a way for Bungie to pad their stats. Look how many people log in each day!
-
Yeah I disagree too. This game doesn't need that daily log in system at all. You get plenty of loot from shooting alien scum.
-
Sorry, have to disagree. Being rewarded just for showing up sounds like the kind of clueless good intention that makes so many kids soft and entitled these days. Having to do stuff for just a *chance* at a reward - now that's more like it!
-
What about weekly gamble, where you get a chance to earn a special gear just from the slots. (Only once a week)
-
You already get loot for the first event of the day, every time you level up a faction, the daily heroic and random drops... Why should we get free loot for doing nothing? Seems pointless. The reason for logging on should be to actually do something, eg. one of the above. Enough people are already getting too much free loot by just standin around doing nothing in strikes or crusible. Well that's my opinion anyways.
-
I think this would be cool. I'd make it this: One (1) Ascendant material at random and One (1) Rare armor engram. Good enough to get you on, lame enough to not go overboard.
-
Of course most people will think it's a great idea. What's better than stuff for nothing? As has been mentioned, smells a little warframey. Though even in WF, those rewards are usually worthless. This idea could work well if it were a monthly reward and the goals were less easy to achieve than simply logging in. Just booting the game up hardly requires much in the way of graft. A minimum quantity of strikes, events, or raids, maybe a mixture for pve, and a separate crucible one, Imagine a monthly public bounty type affair. Maybe a choice between rewards if achieved.
-
Only small things. No weapons or armor, maybe materials, glimmer, and then as a weekly bonus a single deco weapon engram and a single deco armor engram.
-
yes, but won't happen. also bump
-
WelfArch could only show up once a month, and you'd have to get a debuff called "I worked for it" in which you get a -50% exp gain.
-
With the proper implementation, this might just work! +1

Makes it feel like warframe. *shudder*
