PVP IN PATROL!!!

Can we get PvP going in patrol? That would be so cool! It'll be like the most epic of DeathMatches!^-^ Please, community! Let me know how you feel about PvP in patrol. [b]***EDITED***[/b] Patrol could basically have two options under it, PvE or PvP. Simple. [b]****EDITED*****[/b] Destiny is a video game at the end of the day[sorry to break it to anyone] and an option to PvP in patrol would be fun. [i]Agreed?[/i] [b]-----------------[/b] To prevent players from getting killed repeatedly by campers. A [b]Passive Mode[/b] should be an option in PvP for patrol. Basically, [b]Passive Mode[/b] could work in this way: - It'll cost glimmer to activate. - It'll have a [i]cool down[/i] once deactivated. The rules of [i]Passive Mode[/i] would basically be in place to prevent players from trolling and being [i]on and off[/i] of [i]Passive Mode[/i] repeatedly in a single session. [i]#PvPinPatrol[/i] [b]-----------------[/b] For you guys that see this as something that's [i]out of place[/i] in Destiny's lore or story than it could be separate. PvP as an option for patrol could be just that, an [b]OPTION[/b]. PvP in patrol would be were glimmer and marks could be earned. Also, since it would be an option for all patrol missions, it would still allow players to do all [i]patrol missions[/i] on planet. [b]****EDITED****[/b] Here's a small list of some possibilities a PvP [b]OPTION[/b] for patrol would bring: - People could participate in PvP with 4 awesome PvE locations. + PvP in patrol introduce new scripted and unscripted game modes for players to do. - One scripted game mode/activity is doing player bounties. A matter of fact, Bungie has recently been putting bounties on head of members of the community. Entering a PvP patrol mission and seeing someone with a bounty on their head in the wild is ideal! That'll be sooo cool! Cause than you can decide to help them survive with the bounty or take'em out for the reward. Their's endless possibilities PvP in patrol presents. - The fact that random fights can erupt between players and/or faction/clan members. That'll be cool to participate in and/or watch in [b]Passive Mode[/b]. Cool? [b]-----------------[/b] A guardian by the name of @sativa1985 had this question about [b]Passive Mode[/b]([i]Read above for more context on a Passive Mode in a PvP [b]OPTION[/b]/version of patrol[/i]): [u]His question[/u]: "[i]If they did do that why would a player have to pay glimmer not to be shot at[/i]." [u]My answer[/u]: "[i]Because Passive Mode keeps a player from participating in PvP. If you join PvP for patrol and don't want to PvP then you should be penalized. However, you would make back that glimmer back by killing other players, easy[/i]" [b]Passive Mode[/b] does have it's benefits, however. Ever wanted to see a fight, but did not want to be in it? Of course you have. That's why fighting sports exist. Now, instead of you watching UFC in Destiny you'll be watching other guardians go at it! In [i]Passive Mode[/i] you would be able to see the fight, aka live spectating, and not risk loosing your guardian's life participating in it.
