seems like the tone has changed
Is it just me or has the general mood on these forums gone from surprised anger to a kind of betrayed melancholy?
I can't believe the suggested 'bug fix' for the Atheon teleporting. It's clearly a last ditch attempt to make the raid 'harder' since we already have it on farm. Tbh I can't believe you shipped a game with one raid. But hey, think I'm past complaining.
You need to do something, because atm I'm not sure I'm going to bother downloading the dlc I've already paid for.

I'm not sure I'll bother downloading the dlc either. Apathy is the ultimate insult. I don't even care enough to be pissed anymore. Thrill me or get effed.

Yes, betrayed melancholy is exact. Atheon is officially the most unfun, poorly designed boss in video game history.

I remember when my game informer featured this game as the spotlight. I was interested and it just looked so amazing and something I could spend a long time playing over and over. Closer to it actually coming out I didn't pre order it at first because was moving and wasn't sure about my funds at the time. Decided after to pre order last minute and got the game with the extra content (sparrow vanguard) but after playing it I wouldn't say I feel let down because I wasn't expecting much I figured it was going to be almost like borderlands and I just loved the concept of different planets and the sci fi vibe. I have complained about this game it feels like it was cut up or just rushed to make a product hit shelves in time for cash. But damn those early footages really captivated me and made me feel like this would be the shit. Sad to say I feel it may be going down hill so much faster then I wanted it to.

However, after Fridays news letter about this weeks update I am having my doubts. Also, the leaked content seems really... thin as it stands right now with some of it confirmed from Deej. I feel betrayed, let down and saddened on how the game market has become as a whole. The current developers of all genres have lost creativity and focused more on chasing the higher dollar. Honor your players and the funds will flow. -blam!- us over and sooner and later that mountain of gold will dry up because hopefully the community will wise up to shady antics.

Today is the first day that I haven't even considered firing up the console and playing Destiny since it released................that is a long way from the end of the Beta when I could not wait to "become legend". I truly wonder what is going to happen when COD drops the latest and greatest rehash and the PvP crowd moves on to greener pastures. Will the tower become more of a ghost town with fewer guardians wandering around like extras on the walking dead.................looking for something to do other than shamble around looking for something new? My high hopes for this game have been in a nose dive for a while now................I think that the wings have broken off and there is little hope of surviving the inevitable sudden stop at the bottom of our fall.........................

The tone has changed. Maybe it's better this way? At least now we know Bungie is screwing us and we've all just resigned to it? Me, personally, the second Xur shows up with his blue engine thing I'm kinda done with the game. There will be nothing left to do and nothing to keep me from going "screw it."

They might keep messing up, but something will hit Bungie hard that will make them think twice. Maybe I just speak of hope, but dammit that's what we all got into this game for. I have posted on every RNG post I could cause I think it's shit. I have also agreed with some good pointed out and thought out improvements in hopes they will start to make some changes. Bungie's worst enemy right now is priority and getting the game's foundation set. Tweaks and nerfs are doing nothing but pissing people off. They need to get out of that mode and start building on what is good and can improve. That is where I stand.
