This is an idea I've come up with, through thoughts being shared on these forums for a new special weapon (a bow). Bungie if you do come across this feedback message please consider these ideas.. [b][u]Looks[/u][/b]: the bow, being compound or recurved, will have a mechanical frame and a carbon fiber string or a string of light. The string can also have string silencers. [b][u]How it works[/u][/b]: the "charge rate" Will be the amount of time it will take to draw the bow string. The bow will have a slight sway to it when it is drawn; Making this a reasonable and not so OP weapon. The bow can have a silent drawback (not alerting enemies of your presence) and has a short to intermediate kill range. Also having a pretty good amount of impact. [b][u]Abilities/attributes[/u][/b]: The arrows (depending on what type of bow you have) Will either stick to enemies and explode once detonated or explode on impact (doing solar damage), chain lightning (doing arc damage), or be pure energy (doing void damage). An ability to have could be that the arrow can pierce enemies doing a lingering damage (like the Thorn). A bow could have the ability to reduce the sway of the bow or give the player a lesser chance of being detected while crouched; Or it could cloak the player for a short amount of time (Maybe 3-5 seconds) depending on how far along the bow is upgraded and it's rarity.
